So the Punt isn't actually banned? I thought it was.
Does this mean the High Cross isn't banned either and Sheamus just stopped doing it cause he's face?

High Cross might actually be banned... pretty hard to keep a guy from landing on the back of his head with that move. I honestly don't know. I do know for a fact that the "ban" on the punt was strictly kayfabe. Either way, the reason Sheamus isn't using the High Cross has nothing to do with a ban... he's not using it because it's difficult to execute properly against even moderately large opponents. If he tries to put a guy who matches his height in the High Cross, it ends up looking more like a fancy Avalanche Pin than anything else. I suppose that the White Noise is probably better for avoiding concussions too... he cradles the guy's head when drops.

Ah ok. I do miss that move a bit, but seems understandable why it'd go.

This does illustrate something that I think is really cool about the way WWE is operating right now. Since it's impossible to have traditional kayfabe due to the entertainment media scrutinizing everything (WWE would have had an impossible time hiding the romantic relationships between Bryan, Cena, and the Bellas, for example), the WWE is now using the media to reinforce what I like to call "the new kayfabe." It's kind of fascinating watching how they manipulate the media through "leaked reports" and other elements of staged reality. Now if only WWE could create a decent story without messing it up...

I know, look at this from a comment that I saw today: -Ryback becomes a Heyman guy for three weeks...does nothing else -CM Punk just ignoring the Daniel Bryan situation and focusing in on Heyman -Not having HHH and Heyman join sides (best for business) -Having Sandow cash in to lose...to a one-armed Cena?! -Having Cena and Orton fight for both titles so early?! -Reverting the character and story of Daniel Bryan back to the YES! gimmick -Not letting Ryback beat Punk...ONCE -Making Ziggler a midcard jobber -Forcing Cena to comeback early when they had a golden opportunity with the Del Rio-Ziggler Feud -Pairing Ricardo & RVD -The lack of progression of the Wyatts after Kane -The Miz becoming a midcard jobber -Not having Big Show face HHH at Survivor Series

Since we are talking about banned stuff in WWE. Isn't Cena and Orton banned from having a title match vs each other?

That should say: Someone else made this, not me. But, agreed.

I would say a number of the things on that list, especially as pertains to Ryback, are called "good decisions."

I think they had a I quit match and it was suppose to be the last Cena vs Orton match. The the rule was after this match they could have wrestle for a title again. If I remember correctly I didn't expect WWE to uphold it anyway.

Jericho lost a retirement match, came back, and it was never even explained why he was allowed to work again. It was just like "Yo, I'm Chris Jericho, remember me? I'm back!"

Ryback was dead after he lost the Mark Henry so doing nothing with him when he joined Heyman made no difference. He was just a big guy for Punk to beat since Brock wasn't around.

If you're referring to the Cena Vs. Jericho match on RAW set up by Eric Bischoff, then that was just a "Loser is Fired" type of match, not a retirement match.

One I think vs Cena and another vs Ziggler.
