I've never played these games, but have always looked closely at them. Are they good?

I think they're good for what they trying to accomplish. The customization of the game is pretty great. There are a lot of save files you can use to have a type of roster you want that you can find on the net. In fact I can link you to a bunch. Myself, I haven't played it since like August but may get into it more sometime.
However, I HATE the controls and the match types are limited, though some of the ones they have are pretty unique (example: landmine death match)

Would you say it's worth 10 dollars on PSN?

Yes.
However, I would advise you use it as a sim, like CPU vs CPU matches. Idk, maybe you can figure out the controls but I never could lol.

I actually planned on having it as a sim, lol. I've never went that route (full sim). I like the customization from what I've seen, so that's the main reason I'm thinking about getting it.

Well when I do play wrestling games it usually even full sim, even WWE games most of the time. That's why A.I. is so important to me. The A.I. of FPR is pretty good from what I remember and there are some deep 2 counts as well.

(You don't have to answer this if you don't want or if you can't remember, lol). EDIT: Also, Grandpa, check your avatar (actually above and below your avatar) right now. You're still an uber genius, but I changed it up. Which way do you like better?

Game mode are Exhibiton- self-explanitory Tournament League- Kind of a round robin thing where everyone faces everybody and see who can get the most points. It has a certain point system that is pretty easy to understand Team Match- Up to 5 vs 5 tag team matches Battle Royal- Several versions of different battle royals. Once again 10 man limit. Title Match- Defend created titles Match Maker- Kind of a GM mode verison.

The WWE 2013 one by DJMX or something like that is pretty good if you want a pretty updated WWE roster. Has lots of guys on there. It was uploaded around Wrestlemania though so it's a tad dated. Also for some reason the guy left off Mick Foley. lol.

I'm looking at some of these mods and they say "2 slots," what does that mean? Will I not be able to use them all in one huge save?

I only downloaded like 4 and none of them had that so I never really had to deal with that. Actually the most updated WWE one was the only one I ever used. SN: For there to be two save slots must be a lot because there are 500 CAW slots.

Anyways, it's a WCW, ECW, WWE one (which is what I was looking for) and I'm wondering how, even with 3 companies, they're exceeding that number now. I'll give it maybe 70 people per show (which may be over doing it honestly), which is 210. Let's say each of them have 2 attires (which won't happen), that's 420 now. I don't know how anybody would need more than 500 CAWs lol.

I sometimes wish reality didn't exist and that 2k14 could have those options, lol. 500 CAWS and 4 attires per CAW (yes, this can be done already, but not with 500 caws).....that'd be 2000 attires I'd have excluding the ones already in the game.

Is there any universe type mode where I create shows, play (or simulate in my case) matches and book matches and stuff (and is never ending)?

Is there any universe type mode where I create shows, play (or simulate in my case) matches and book matches and stuff (and is never ending)? The match maker mode is a place where you choose a show and book things accordingly. I believe there are different types of shows. Like and ecw-type show and other shows that are more about divas or characters of wrestlers. Each show has a different theme about it. I'm not sure how the A.I. goes about judging if it's a good show or not but I think you compete against other brands, I think. I really didn't check into that mode a lot. I'm also not sure how long it goes on.

I've tried on more than one occasion to get into the Fire Pro series (once with the GBA game and again several years later with the one on the PS2). It bums me out because it seems that the games are rich with deep customization options but I can't stand the fucking gameplay. This "one, two, THREE!" timing-based grapple mechanic is the most retarded thing I've ever seen and the specific reason why I've not been able to enjoy the series as much as I'd genuinely like to.
