Theorized, tried, and failed. His head can regrow his $#@!ing body. Wolverine is ridiculous (BTW, with his adamantium skeleton, it's literally impossible to separate his skull from his spine anyway...) Then what if he was thrown in a volcano? His tissue would be continuously destroyed, and it would destroy it before it could completely regrow, and the average temperature of a volcano exceeds the melting point of adamantium by 800 degrees. If volcanoes actually continually generated heat/lava, yes. |

The drowning thing was a weird deus ex machina that they invented to allow him to kill Daken. He's drowned several times in the past, and come back. If he drowned and then remained continually under water, perhaps. |

The brown suit (80 till 90-something) was far and away the best suit he ever had in the main comics, and was the best period of his "career" as a character. Comics had gotten gritty enough to allow him to be brutal and dark, but he hadn't become the entire focus of the franchise yet.
Best costumes overall are the ones from the Evolution cartoon and the Ultimates comics

Not only did those costumes look more like bondage gear than heroic outfits, they actively made fun of the actual X-Men costumes. $#@! that. Worst costumes they've ever had. |

As much as I love Blue Beetle, I have no true reason to be happy because they haven't declared their Nu52 to be a spinoff "ultimate" line yet.

Pretty sure Booster Gold is still dead or launched into the future/past/whatever. Of course, with Kord back, they'll definitely bring Booster back... one of the best team-ups DC has is the Ted Kord version of Beetle and Booster gold. ... of course, Ted Kord will probably be a 22 year old homosexual crossdresser now.... |
