... what anime cartoon in the 90s? The only Batman cartoon that I'm aware of in the 1990's was Batman: the Animated Series and that was not "anime" by any stretch of the imagination. I didn't mean anime as in a Japanese anime. I was talking the about Batman: The Animated Series. That would be what we call a cartoon

You can only have one adjective in front of Knight or at least I'm told that's how it works. Tge most obvious flaw with Bruce to me is the whole "He put on a suit and trained his body to physical excellence to protect a city. The older I got I realized there's so many more practical ways to do that" And the lack of charachter development. His parents dying is basically the only justification for his whole crusade against crime and he never really grows along the way. But at least the majority of the villians are kinda interesting The majority of the villains suck. I disagree, majorly. I mean, not a lot of them are A-Listers, but they're still not terrible. Also, I like to think of Batman villains and Spider-Man villains as equal. They're famous and reputable in their respective mythos, but as a whole universe, they're not really A-List characters. THANKS TO SKYLER!

A lot of DC's villains suck. I was going through Plastic Man's history (as he's the preorder bonus figure for Lego Batman 3). Carrotman? Sadly Sadly? Grasshopper?

It's just that what is good in DC is really iconic and powerful....for the most part. In my opinion, DC is good at having iconic characters and stories. Marvel's good at having interesting characters and stories. I don't know if that makes sense. Marvel focuses (usually) a lot more on character development as a whole, while DC focuses on the select few that are big, or that they think will make it big.

DC has easily marketable logos and characters.
Marvel had Spider-Man.

Never quite got the public spotlight to the extent of Spider-Man.
Great character, arguably the greatest to come out of comics, but his marketability was laughable compared to Spidy, Superman's shield symbol, Batman's numerous ever-changing logos, or even Wonder Woman.
As you know though, things change, everything can change, you've seen it with the uprising popularity in Iron Man thanks to RDJ.

So ummm... what if I told you that the Captain America "shield" vintage t-shirt alone outsold all Spider-Man merchandise from March of 2012 until March of 2014, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier out-earned TASM 2? Captain America has actually always been a highly marketable property for Marvel.

When cable went back in time he said that spidy is looked upon as the greatest hero ... which has nothing to do with their marketability in the real world. Spider-Man is Marvel's answer to Superman. He's the "everyman hero", the guy who is always struggling against impossible odds and has a private life that a majority of the fans can identify with. Captain America may have some philisophical similarities to Superman, but Spider-Man is the parallel character, not Cap. DC's Captain America is... I dunno, Green Lantern, or Nightwing.

I was centering that pre-MCU because I didn't want to look up and compare merchandising sales between Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, and Cap.
You've been at this game longer than I, so you're the far more reliable source anyway.

I wish ghost rider and thanos would fight Most of the time, Ghost Rider isn't remotely powerful enough to fight someone like Thanos.
