The majority of the villains suck. I disagree, majorly. I mean, not a lot of them are A-Listers, but they're still not terrible. Also, I like to think of Batman villains and Spider-Man villains as equal. They're famous and reputable in their respective mythos, but as a whole universe, they're not really A-List characters. I wish ghost rider and thanos would fight Most of the time, Ghost Rider isn't remotely powerful enough to fight someone like Thanos. I just want to see the rider apart of the mainstream comics more. Also I want a cinematic version of GR vs hulk |

For starters, it recognizes the existence of a monotheistic, all powerful God that created the entire universe and relegates other "gods" like Thor to the status of "really tough aliens." It also places one of the many Marvel "devils" firmly in the role of "Satan" and makes the others subordinate |

There is no THE devil, only a bunch of competing demons (who themselves are sometimes presented as actually being demonic powers, and sometimes simply as very powerful residents of alternate dimensions). ... except Ghost Rider, which has generally assigned one particular demon the role of "the Devil", not in keeping with genuine Christian tradition, but more in line with the secular tradition of the overlord of Hell who collects souls and makes deals. |

I would love to see crowly as a marvel villain. He would be so cool I'll take that actor in pretty much anything, as long as he's playing a slimy weasel. I love him in supernatural. I liked him on the x files too. My dad calls me moose now cause of crowly |

Some of the later versions had the ability to "adapt" to counter the powers of whoever they were fighting. It doesn't matter how powerful you are; the thing that is custom built to defeat you personally has a pretty good chance of succeeding. Zod can't beat Superman in a fight despite being just as powerful as Superman. Doomsday can beat Superman to death despite lacking several key elements of Superman's arsenal (particularly flying) because he was bred for the purpose. Thor and Ghost Rider are both pretty beatable opponents. With Thor, all it takes is enough physical force, and with Ghost Rider, you just need to catch him in a vulnerable moment when his supernatural powers aren't optimized. Sentry... well Sentry is as powerful as he imagines himself to be, so that's a tough one. If Sentry believes he can win, he probably will. |

This guy...  He started as a Marvel "poke" at Superman. He's essentially an all powerful superdude with a whole slew of psychological problems, including the fact that his primary villain is just another side of himself. He evolved past the "nyah nyah Superman sucks!" thing pretty quickly and became somewhat popular for reasons I cannot fathom. Then Thor literally ripped him in half, and he was dead, and all was right with the world. ... then he came back as one of the new 4 Horsemen *sigh*  (The other three, for the curious, are Grim Reaper, Banshee, and Daken) |
