WWE has announced nominees for the Slammy Award for Match of the Year, which will be presented by Bret Hart: - Undertaker vs. CM Punk (WrestleMania 29)
- John Cena vs. The Rock (WrestleMania 29)
- Cody Rhodes & Goldust vs. Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns (Battleground)
- Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar (Extreme Rules)
Thoughts on this?.... I personally think CM Punk VS John Cena from RAW on the 25th of February should be on the list.

I love punk vs cena matches.
A Brock v hhh match should be on the worst list

Cody Rhodes & Goldust vs. Seth Rollings & Roman Reigns is my pick (from those).
There were far better matches this year than that.

I agree Punk VS Cena should be on the list.
Despite Cena self inflicted power bomb, it was a awesome match.

So...
What? None of these would have been in my top 25 for this year, let alone being the entire top 4....

That list is pretty skeevy, and I'm with Joey... HHH/Lesnar belongs on a "most embarrassing" list, not a "best" list.
Of those, I guess I'd have to say Shield vs. Rhodes Bros(?)

I'm in agreement with all of you.
Though If they insist of having a HHH VS Lesnar match on the list,at least it's the better of the two..... Meaning not their WM29 match.

*snicker*
Orton and Bryan have put on better matches on Raw than the matches listed here.

Cena vs Bryan Cena vs Punk that Raw match you guys mentioned Pick any Bryan vs Orton besides their Hell in a Cell match
Heck I'll put Brock vs Punk before any of those matches and I wasn't a big fan of that match.

Took one look at the list. Felt like pointing out how the list perfectly exemplifies why I still don't WWE wrestling. Figure that there's no point, it's already been said a million times.

Why you don't WWE wrestling? Well what the hell happened there? See, thinking about WWE wrestling just gets me flustered.

Why you don't WWE wrestling? I feel like it's time you stop correcting others' grammar and look at your own. That was me correcting Mike. Also most of the time I have a grammatical error it's doing to myself being purposely ironic. Also sometimes I just pull a Shakespeare and make up words because none exists in the place of one that I need.

"'Purposely' is the word you want when describing something done deliberately" "'Purposefully' describes the action or demeanor of a person who is determined or resolute."

No it's purposely. "'Purposely' is the word you want when describing something done deliberately" "'Purposefully' describes the action or demeanor of a person who is determined or resolute." Not exactly. The primary definition of "purposefully" is "to have a purpose." The two words are actually interchangeable, except that "purposely" is generally used by muppets 8)

I would have chosen - Bryan vs Cesaro(the day when Bryan was in a gauntlet match) -Bryan vs Cena, Summerslam -Cena vs Punk (the piledriver match ) -Orton vs Bryan at Hell In A Cell was good, too. -Punk vs Jericho at Payback. Why on earth is Rock-Cena 2 on the nominations?

lol I didn't even know that purposefully was a word. Why on earth is Rock-Cena 2 on the nominations? Because it's Rock and Cena and WWE, for some reason or another, believes we all worship them.

Yeah, The Rock and Cena are so great they can endlessly reverse each other's finishers for hours.
