Well I started watching the show yesterday and today I'm about three episodes in to the second season so I'd say that I'm loving it.

Cool, since you're going to chew through Breaking Bad in about 20 minutes, watch The Shield next, and then Sons of Anarchy.

I had dream last night that mel Gibson was cast as Walter white/Heisenberg. I wants to see that now. As good as bryan Cranston was mel would have been mind blowing with that part

Despite being a lunatic with some kind of obvious mental disability I still really enjoy Mel Gibson. I wouldn't like him as Heisenberg though, Cranston totally owns that part. He sinks right into it, I've rarely seen such a believable performance. Jesse too. I buy these guys in their roles, I'm never distracted by the fact that they're actors.
I'm so into the show that I bought a badass Breaking Bad tshirt and figure with some Christmas money.

Mel kinda gets a bad rap. Yea he said really bad stuff inappropriate stuff the past couple years but he has helped a lot other entertainers out of their dark pits. The most well known was robert downy jr.
Even though Cranston was amazing I really would have loved to see Gibson in that role he has that quirky nature but can be gruff and intimadating when it calls for it

Gibson is too recognizable an actor though. I like him, I buy him as an actor, but no matter the role I'm always reminded of the fact that I am, in fact, watching "Mel Gibson". The closest he came from breaking away from that, for me, was Signs.
I don't know that he really gets a bad rap. He's a notorious asshole to the press and has gotten in hot water for glib remarks he's made about homosexuals, Jews, and of course the frothing rage-spew promos that he cut against his wife (and women in general). He's reaped what he's sown. That isn't to say that I dislike him or think that he doesn't deserve as much of a chance as any other Hollywood asshole, and it also doesn't say that I think his wife wasn't deliberately pushing his buttons during those (surreptitiously) recorded phone calls, but I don't feel that the knocks that he's taken were anyone's fault but his own.

Aren't most actors and famous people assholes? Mel Gibson is just a public asshole.

Mel Gibson has a lot of Daddy Damage. I still think he's an incredible actor. Don't think I'd want him for Heisenberg, but then I honestly can't imagine anyone other than Cranston in the role at this point.

Just finished the last episode of Breaking Bad. My god, that show was one of the most outstanding things to ever grace my television screen.
