Family Guy is an incredibly stupid show, but all this proves is that they were already working on (or had probably finished) the episode where Brian returned from the dead at the time his "death" aired on TV, and contrary to popular opinion, his return has nothing to do with people bitching in the internet or signing petitions.

So Brian's back already. That didn't last long at all... My typical eye-rolling ass called it within the first hour of his "death". I said to just wait, this is obviously a stunt, or at the very least they won't stick to their guns and will bow to the pressure of the raging fans who protest the turn of events. I pointed out the evidence such as the abruptness of his departure as well as the casual satisfaction of the creators for having done it (to say nothing of their assurance that they were happy with the direction that they planned to take and that the fans knew that McFarlane and co. wouldn't let them down). I mean it was such an obvious, cynical ploy. I expected that they'd at least wait until the end of the season. :rolleyes: I do however find amusement in McFarlane's response: "You didn't really think we'd kill off Brian, did you? Jesus, we'd have to be fucking high". |

I honestly think Family Guy is one of the most idiotic shows out there. I made this thread for idiots who enjoy the show to discuss it.

I watched the episode just cause it was a Christmas episode. The writing is so fucking bad in that show. You could tell they didn't know how to continue the original plot of the episode so they just said hey keys get Brian back at the end.

Haven't seen much of the newer shows but I do love Family Guy, as well as Futurama, Simpsons, American Dad and occasionally South Park.
Out of the host of animated shows, I personally don't care much for the Cleveland Show.
Anyway it was obvious Brian was coming back. Stewie and Brain seem to die regularly. You'd be a idiot to think Brian was actually gone.

Since everybody hates this idiotic show, I would request for Bane to delete this thread. I was under the false assumption that there were actually people idiotic enough to like Family Guy...
Then again Stewie is never here...
