From what I've seen of GTA V, Trevor'd have it coming, and Michael's family wouldn't miss him. I thought the same thing as you halfway through the game. Then Trevor started to grow on me and Michael redeemed himself with his family. I still hate Trevor, but there was no way I could kill him. Franklin on the other hand... I couldn't have cared less if he died. There was nothing about him that would make you care for him. He was bland and uninteresting, and what's worse is that he ended up being the "main character" of the game. Michael was an awesome character and so was Trevor. Both of them made you feel for their characters and get attached to their lives. Trevor is a schizophrenic mentally ill person who was abused as a child and has conflicts about his sexuality. Michael is an old guy who just wants his past life to be over with so that he can live with his family without having to worry about being killed, and he also suffers from bouts of temporary insanity. Franklin? Franklin is a stereotypical black person who lives with his crazy aunt and stole cars with his egotistical asshole friend Lamar and wants to get rich. |

Funny thing is the original C ending was suppose to have Franklin die and replace him with Lamar. If you ask me we got lucky because Lamar is probably one of the worse characters in the game.
Franklin isn't nearly as interesting as Micheal or Trevor put his role in the trio is more playing peace maker and being the son Micheal always wanted.

I wouldn't say he is more interesting than Franklin unless you count doing a lot of stupid shit as interesting(Not Trevor stupid either). Lamar can be funny at times but he's humor wouldn't work without someone as down to earth as Franklin. |

I enjoyed it but found it boring. That seems like an oxymoron to me. Well you can enjoy the story it was telling but found the missions boring or visa versa. I'm that way with GTA 4, the story is fine but the mission are boring as all hell. |
