This is the time when everyone will start to wish that the titles were never unified. I wish either Sandow or Reigns would win, but WWE would not have Sandow compete for the Unified title (maybe the WHC if it still existed) & Reigns will either be shoved into a triple threat with Ambrose & Rollins or a 6 man tag team match against the Wyatt Family. I see either a Punk, Bryan or Cena win. You're probably right (although I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a "return" win for Sheamus, either), but I don't think title unification is the problem. WWE had pretty well proven that it wasn't willing to make changes and move forward by putting the strap on a new guy before unification came up. I think WWE screwed up when they didn't allow Sandow to successfully cash in his MITB contract. I was really hoping to see him get that title & see what he could do with it, instead we got a long, boring Cena-Del Rio feud. |

Bray Wyatt winning the Royal Rumble... why??? It's pretty clear that even WWE is conscious of the fact that his ring skills are embarrassingly bad at this point. They only ever put him in tag matches, won't let him spend long in the ring even in those, and when he does, it's mostly him standing around being sweaty or punching an opponent that someone else knocked down. Why would they EVER give a fat goon who has yet to ever have a watchable singles match win a shot at headlining Wrestlemania? They're already sorry they put him on TV at all. With the titles being unified now I would be all for this, use to be a time when holding a ic belt was ment for guys who deserve it and wasn't used as a prop to get a guy over |

On one hand, I'd like to think that a guy like Punk holding a midcard title could elevate that title to it's deserved status again. On the other hand, I just don't see that happening.
