I don't see how one is better than the other. Both is dudes beating the turd outta each other for money, fame, and badassery. You are completely wrong. Are there people that join the sport for those purposes? Yes, but is it what everybody does it for? No. Best example I can think of, and one of my idols, despite what bulls*** people will try to give me, is Jason Mayhem Miller. Kid that was bullied in school. Had to defend himself. Learned to fight. Loved to fight, it became a hobby and a life turner for him. Fights not for fame or fortune, but to prove that even those sorts of people can prove themselves against the toughest of people. Yup, that's not the best explanation of him, or his career and success/failures, but it's pretty spot on for a 30 second reply if you ask me. Mayhem is a wacko. Aressted 3 times in span of a month and half i believe. 2 of them were for domestic violenc

Yup, that's not the best explanation of him, or his career and success/failures, but it's pretty spot on for a 30 second reply if you ask me. Mayhem is a wacko. Aressted 3 times in span of a month and half i believe. 2 of them were for domestic violenc Mayhem was controversial in many ways. 1. His sister had reportedly called the cops because he put her in a headlock at a party and accidentally hurt her, which may or may not be the truth, I don't care. She did drop all charges though. 2. Arrested for stealing, public intoxication, and public nudity (I believe?) outside of a church.... The pastor defended him and all charges were dropped, if that tells you anything about that case. He did admittedly tell Dana White to kill himself though. I don't really think of that as a crime though, just a bad action. 3. He went on a rampage acting in character on MMA Hour and threw stuff, stole a shirt, and yelled racial slurs. (I'll get back to most of this on bullet number 4.) 4. Mayhem came back on the same show (MMA Hour) two weeks later and claimed that 2 and 3 were all part of a social experiment. He wanted to see if the MMA Community would help a fellow member when he was in need, and they really didn't. Do I agree with the "social experiment?" No, I don't even know if I believe it. He did apologize for acting so much in character in the last interview though, gave the shirt back, and donated the prop jacket he wore in the movie he was making to MMA Hour. Does it make up for stealing? Not in my eyes, but he gave it back. Was it because of media, or because he planned it all along, or because he knew it was right? No idea, don't care. I don't approve of the racial slurs at all though, but maybe that's just me. 5. He does have two cases of domestic violence (actually, it was one I believe with two felonies of the same matter). He also had a case for a misdemeanor for violating a stay away order. 5. He had a fight with Uriah Hall calling him racial slurs and getting punched by Hall. Media has shown you all of the bad, my friend. Most of these charges were dropped (if not all, I can't really remember). The only one that I know was proved that he did, were the MMA Hour ones, and the Uriah Hall one. The MMA Hour one he had a reason for. If you believe that reason, then so be it. If you don't, then so be it. Doesn't change the fact that I like the guy, or that he's an inspiration of mine, lol.

And I did say that wasn't the only example, it was just the first that came to mind.....

Hmmmm, let's put it this way... Great Muta never wrestled in WWE, does that make him horrible in your eyes? At least Miller made it into the UFC, Muta didn't go to WWE. That being said, I don't like Muta, but that doesn't mean he hasn't had success and that he wasn't talented. Also, UFC may be the most well known successful MMA business, but it's not the only successful MMA business. You of all people should know that  EDIT: And if you really think that all of the best MMA fighters are in UFC.....well, then you're delusional.

Also wwe wants guys to fit their mold not exactly the best performers. Ufc wants nothing but the best and that's what they are getting now.

Also, Muta went back to work in japan long before the wwe bought wcw..

Muta also worked in WCW when it was more successful than the WWE 8)
(It actually IS a decent comparison, it's not at all idiotic... but the fact is that Muta has worked for the biggest promotions available to him in the markets in which he worked. I agree 100% that if you're an MMA fighter, UFC is the proving grounds. That's why Uriah Faber was a big deal... until he got to UFC and got destroyed in his first fight.)

Mma promotions not named ufc are lucky to have there doors open for 3 years max. They either spend to much money on one guy or they get screwed over bye said guy cause he pisses hot or something like that Yup, let's all just forget: Bellator MMA One FC World Series of Fighting Maximum Fighting Championship M-1 Global Also wwe wants guys to fit their mold not exactly the best performers. Ufc wants nothing but the best and that's what they are getting now. Yup, let's all just make excuses because I proved the theory wrong. Muta may not fit WWE's style right now, but he sure could've fit WWE's style at some point since his relevancy since he started wrestling professionally and has never been there Now the rest is directed towards Muta.... Please explain to me how Miller's not a good fighter.... His overall record is: 23 wins and 9 losses. Winning over the likes of Tim Kennedy, Hector Urbina, Robbie Lawler, and many others. Nobody compare him Royce, but nobody can deny that he isn't good at what he does. Even with most of his losses, he lasted throughout the whole fight. 6 of his losses were by decision, meaning he may have got beat, but he never tapped out and he never got knocked out and he never let the guy beat him so badly that the ref called it (besides the other 3 losses of course, which were 2 TKOs and 1 submission). Also, Nobody said I was comparing the sports of WWE (if you call it that) and UFC. I was comparing the businesses, because that's what they are.

Never watched WCW and never cared for Muta. I'll admittedly say that using Muta was a bad example, but nonetheless, it doesn't mean that just because you don't get the most success in the biggest business, that you suck in the business completely, especially when the biggest business isn't the only business around.
