Compared to 98% of the roster from 2008 and onwards, Jericho was and still is a wrestling God. That doesn't make his contribution to the product any more meaningful . But it does, because the reason I just said. Compared to what WWE has, the grand, very large majority, if not the entire roster, he was/is the best. He a good reign as IC Champ, a good reign as WHC and a good reign as tag champion in the time you're talking about. He helped make each of those titles actually interesting in the time he's had them. He also put a bunch of young guys over, and whether WWE dropped the ball on them or not has nothing to do with him. Jericho is the best WWE has signed at the moment, wrestling wise, microphone wise and he's been that way since Shawn Michaels retired. |

Nobody responded well to Swagger as champ, and how far he went back into obscurity is evidence of that. Jericho wining the WHC did more to set up HBK vs Taker then it did for the World Title picture. I still think Edge vs Y2J could've not been for the belt and been good or atleast have Edge win the belt |
