Most of the time, nothing. I'd rather not watch it at all than watch a watered down, bastardized version of it. I may also love comedy but that doesn't mean that I'm going to sit through every miserable new episode of SNL. When was the last time you watched wrestling? With any regularity? Early 2009. It's not that I wouldn't like to get back into it again, it's that any time I've tried- literally and without exaggeration, any time that it sounded interesting enough for me to tune in- the company would pull some dipshit maneuver or bait and switch or they'd waste my time with so many commercials and in-ring soliloquies and twitter ads that I simply couldn't work up the enthusiasm to care. Knight says that the in-ring product is as good as it's ever been and I completely believe him. But all the talent in the world isn't going to make me want to sit through shitty writing, booking, and an over-emphasis on standing around with microphones. I'm glad that the actual wrestling, when they get down to it, is great. Give me a call when the rest of the show is.

I find this entire conversation idiotic, but I've been over all of it before, so I'm not going to waste my time

Good, I'm glad that you've finally learned. Now go back to looking forward to the next WWE show that you and everyone else will bitch about just like every other week.

I once cut out wrestling for about 6 months in early 2010 simply because 2009 was awful. However, I missed it so bad I jumped back on in June for a little bit and started back full time in 2011. As a result I really don't remember anything that happened in 2010 except for Nexus.

The only time I stopped watching wrestling was a period in the early 2000's... and even then, I followed RAW, I just couldn't watch Smackdown because: Brock $#@!ing Lesnar (actually, pretty much all of SD's top guys were awful in every way... when Kurt Angle is your high point, you're... well, TNA)

Sort of. They fired Hogan (insert someone insisting that he wasn't fired, they simply didn't give him a new conctract, and me laughing), so that's a good sign... but I haven't watched in months. If you think WWE is adept at doing counter-intuitive, mind-numbingly stupid things that fly in the face of what the fans want, then TNA would be your personal nightmare.

Ah, so that would explain why I'm hearing about Hogan doing a pointless Wrestlemania match. I also heard that Jeff Jarrett died or quit or was kidnapped or something, I dunno. I don't really follow. Gramps? I thought you died or got trapped under Wonka's silly suds car or something. Charlie and I simply had too much fizzy lifting drinks at the Christmas party and we floated to Neptune. Took a while to get back. Well get Charlie to let you play GTA V, I'm sick of seeing my friends online without having mutual games to play with them.

Unlike Hogan, Jarrett actually did leave of his own accord. He's never had a friendly relationship with Dixie Carter, and after the whole "sleeping with Kurt Angle's wife" fiasco his reputation backstage never recovered. Even though Kurt and his ex both seem to agree that their split up was Kurt's fault, the fans and other talent don't show any signs of letting Jarrett off the hook.
I think it was a smart move for him to leave. As long as Dixie is in charge he's going nowhere in TNA, and his name is still just bankable enough that he could earn some quick cash doing a tour of RoH and some of the bigger indie promotions.
All of that being said, Jeff Jarrett is still a very mediocre wrestler and a terrible human being.

Amazing how you list a cavalcade of crappy, overrated wrestlers with zero charisma who have only ever rarely strung together a watchable match (and Big Show), and expect me to think positively of something. Brock Lesnar has always sucked. I can't figure out why people don't see this, but the only thing special about Brock Lesnar is his ability to hurt people. Which, sadly, is counter to the point of professional wrestling. Cena? LOL, seriously? Matt Hardy? Meh Angle? WILDLY overrated. Not as bad as Botch, but not nearly as good as people want to make him out to be. Undertaker? HE'S A $#@!ING WRESTLING ZOMBIE The Guerreros? So what?

Not that I disagree with you any Knight, but who exactly has Lesnar hurt other than Holly? Once again, I'm not disagreeing at all, I'm just ignorant on the subject.
