Oh, actually, I see what you're getting at. He does have some scar tissue up there, when you look up close.

ALSO (and I'm surprised muta hasn't mentioned this, as I'm sure he's familiar with the concept), not all bleeding in wrestling involves blading. Long before guys were cutting themselves with razors during matches, they were using intentional bleeding in wrestling. It was usually accomplished with a specific kind of punch to the right part of the head. You use the knuckles to strike the crown (right near the hairline, in the same place as most guys "blade" nowadays). The reason they cut there is because there's a vein that gushes and is relatively easy to bust open. The punch is colloquially known as a "knuckle buster" because if you do it wrong, you'll break your knuckles. It's sometimes used in actual street fights because if you can get a guy bleeding into his eyes, it's much easier to win the fight. i am familiar, but i was on about Muta..there were camera cutaways to avoid catching Muta opening himself.

I was just surprised that, unrelated to Muta, you didn't point out that bleeding doesn't always equal blading. I think it was Hogan who basically said in one interview... the only reason to blade rather than busting a guy open naturally with your fist is because it's more reliable.
