As a wrestler? Really? You really believe he had great matches and deserved to be a World Champion? Okay, pop quiz... without looking it up, name one World Title caliber match that Mick Foley ever had. |

Foley is a good crash dummy........... Exactly. His big moments were him falling off of stuff. Go re-watch his first World Title win. The "live" audience at RAW barely cared about the match at all until Stone Cold came out. This is not about me "disliking" Foley (although I do). I dislike Stone Cold intensely, but I acknowledge that he was a World Title caliber performer. Even though he wrestled like $#@!, he owned audiences weekly. Stone Cold was as legit a world champion as Hogan ever was. Foley is different. Foley was not a great talker, Foley did not have entertaining spots, and Foley was not capable of drawing an audience in on his own. Foley was all about stunts and gimmicks like bumping on thumb tacks. $#@! Foley. |

I have to say while I'm watching MITB 13. Curtis Axel isn't being used right. The guy had a great match vs Miz and really took off when WWE finally booked him correctly. Give Axel a shot in the mid card WWE.

Why all of the hate for Miz? The guy was amazing on the mic (by the way, many of his promos, even his short ones, were very noteworthy) and wasn't bad in the ring. He was pretty decent for being somebody that came from Real World....(?) I think it's that show.

Miz was a great Champion. He did all of the TV spots that the company wanted/needed, got Heat like crazy, and basically was everything you could ever ask from a "placeholder" Champ, which was all he was ever meant to be. If you can name anybody who ever worked harder for the company knowing full well that as soon as the Main Eventers were all healthy again, he was going to be sent back to the midcard (or lower) to rot, go ahead and name them. |
