WWE had Lesnar slated to win the WWE title before he left Ohio Valley. That's how much he was "the guy." The only reason it took as long as it did is because he lied to get out of the last six months of his Ohio Valley contract, and got busted for it.

to me yea , i look at it where its like your the next chosen guy to cary this company or what ever the case may be , on your back & take it to the top Okay, then how does the term "passing the torch" fit for WM18? The Rock had already been "the guy" in the company, a couple of years before. He wasn't being groomed to carry the company to the next level at that point, he'd already served that role. At WM18, HHH was on the rise and would be "the guy" in the company for the next few years... I don't think HHH was necessarily "The Guy". More like the guy who was used as the guy and helped the guys after him become "The Guy".

People INSIST that Goldberg and Brock Lesnar are as amazing as they were advertised, and even worse.... They LOVED Lesnar vs. Goldberg.

LOL HHH was unquestionably "the guy." The highest rated period in WWE history was the McMahon-Helmsley Era. The fans may never give HHH credit, but the WWE certainly did. There's a reason he's held as many titles as he has, and why he was used as "the stick" for so many years. HHH was a "slow starter" compared to The Rock, but once he got to the top, he was more consistent about staying there, and he certainly did more to keep WWE vital and healthy over the years than Rock ever has.

Idk, this is stuff you would know. I don't know the inner-workings to such things. I'm trying to get Hunter the strap in my Universe mode though.... Speaking of that, would anybody be kind enough to find close up pictures of HHH's trunk designs in the specific years of 1999 (August-December) and 2001? Thanks.

In other news Bryan has named his running knee the super badass name of.............. Knee Plus.
The Wolves have lost the TNA tag team title after holding them for like a week.
WWE's website has a new article up looking at 10 tag teams that should return. They listed:
10. Rob Van Dam & Sabu 9. The Hardy Boyz 8. Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin 7. London & Kendrick 6. The APA 5. The Dudleys 4. Mikey Whipwreck & Tajiri 3. Big Show & Chris Jericho 2. Al Snow & Steve Blackman 1. The Steiner Brothers

I love how Jericho and Big Show get a "I don't give a f***" but Al Snow & Steve Blackman get "sure why not" That's more so because the planned team of Edge and Jericho>Jerishow in terms of entertainment value. Looking back on it Jerishow wasn't all that entertaining Especially when DX made them look like fools

They were in the same order that they were presented in. If you read the list downward and my responses the same way, they'll match up.
*shrugs* I never understood why Jericho & Big Show were supposed to be a big deal. They never had any chemistry in the ring or in promos, and both of them are too good as solo workers to be stuck in a tag team... so while I'm not opposed to them re-uniting, I have zero enthusiasm for that happening.
Conversely, I couldn't give a rats ass about Snow or Blackman individually (and in fact have come to really think Al Snow is a rampaging dumbass who benefited too much from his friendship with Foley and should never have been allowed onto the main roster), together I found them to be somewhat amusing.

Idk why bit I've always thought the only way Tajiri would be of much use at this point is in a tag team with Tatsu (if he's still around)
