... it's time to put Ryback in a feud with someone else who works really stiff (like Lesnar) and just let the two morons murder one another.

To be fair, Ziggler sells those clotheslines like a champ....

Great, another setback (or should I say Ryback?) for Ziggler's basically nonexistent career.
Rule #1: To make it in the WWE, don't you dare have the audacity to become popular on the merits of your own natural ability alone. And whatever you do, don't have the audacity to do it without a WWE-sanctioned super-push.

We shouldn't consider that fact. All of those reports are just speculation. For all we know he could be the nicest guy in the locker room.

... erm, no. I've heard the radio interviews with him running his mouth and saying things he clearly shouldn't be saying, like breaking kayfabe on Randy Orton's punt kick. I'm inclined to believe the backstage rumors as well based on the number and sources, but even if I weren't, if you went on the radio saying bad things about McDonalds, you'd get fired from McDonalds. Ziggler is lucky to have a job at all.

Yeah... no. There were guys that drew and never got to the heights that Flair did in the business. Flair is given credit for drawing because he was usually the Main Event. He was usually the Main Event because promoters liked him. Promoters liked him because, amongst other things, he protected the business. If you look at the "great Champions" the thing they mostly have in common is being good for the business, and the business of wrestling is more than just money. Ziggler's failure to protect the business is why he's not going to become a great champion.

This is a "chicken or egg" argument, and we could go endless circles on it. Personally I always fall on the side of "success is mostly being in the right place at the right time" in the wrestling business. Hulk Hogan isn't the biggest name in the history of the business because Terry Bollea is such a great showman; he's the biggest name in the history of the business because he was the guy that Vince McMahon hand picked to be "the man" in the company that would define the industry in what would become the genesis of modern professional wrestling. Ric Flair is a great performer, and I won't take that away from him... but just being a great performer isn't enough. Flair "drew" because the promoters kept pushing him up the card and eventually made him a Main Event mainstay. He was allowed to do those things because it was known that he would protect the business. I can guarantee you that if Flair had said the things that Ziggler has said, we wouldn't be talking about him as the guy with more Championships than even he can accurately count. ESPECIALLY back then; failing to protect the business was not good for your career. Actively breaking kayfabe was even worse.

Actively breaking kayfabe was even worse. i see where you're at with this. i'll go this way with it, plenty of guys were willing to go to great personal and physical lengths to protect the business. yet, Flair is the one to go over? why is that? i truly believe it's because he was good for business. sure he got a leg up by promoters, but if he couldn't make hay with that spot how long would he have kept it? Flair put many guys over, many of whom weren't good enough to hold the curtain open for him. and, sure of course he knew it would be him at the top eventually no matter who he would job to. because he knew he was box office.

I don't disagree with any of that. Flair was great in his day, and greatness propelled him... but he wouldn't have had that opportunity if he hadn't also followed the rules. To put it another way... if someone had gone on the radio and said "you know, Flair's figure four really doesn't hurt, the entire hold is a work..." that guy wouldn't have gotten very far in the business, and that's exactly what Ziggler did. Ziggler is a good worker, but he's not Ric Flair. (Neither is Orton... but the fact is that Orton is the Main Event guy and Dolph Ziggler is the guy trying to get there)
