At least England is above Greece... For what it's worth... Which is like us saying "at least we're not Mexico"

At least England is above Greece... For what it's worth... Actually I think we should do some kind of scientific study on this. The logical criteria is obvious; the more self-professed Socialist/Communists elected to National Offices, the more ridiculous the political scheme. Bonus points for any candidates who openly have Nazi sympathies.

ICP is gang music, used a lot by gangs. Hell I'm sure they have a song literally called "F*ck the police" with those lyrics.
I can see why authorities would label them gangs with the crowd that music attracts.
I'm sure they got a case. You can make a case about anything these days, you could probably sue a fork if you wanted to. lol If they'll succeed, well that remains to be seen.

Nope, former 90's rap group NWA has a song called "'F' The Police". The band Dope did a cover of it.

A feeble publicity stunt to appear like they are still relevant.

A feeble publicity stunt to appear like they are still relevant. You just made an entire army of juggalos cry. ... needless to say, you're my hero for the next 10 minutes.

This is coming from a fan of all eras. I love the solo work from Cube & Dre but their influence has led to just about the majority of the complaints rap has in terms of subject matter. Sure there purpose was to bring Awareness to police brutality but other than that you can't really say anything positive about what they did.

Interesting the debut of Public Enemy also came out the same year as Straight Outta Compton. When it comes to the image of rap we needed far more Chuck D clones than NWA rip offs (Although I've always dismissed a chink of Chuck D's social commentary as falling in that grey area between Pan Africanism carried out well and borderline black supremacy that stems from bad experiences with whites in his day)

... yeah, I think they were both full of crap. Sorry. Bitching about how the white man is keeping you down has never done anything for black people. Uplifting leaders that challenged black people to stop playing the blame game and start taking responsibility for themselves have done all of the heavy lifting.

That's why he was killed. It's a real shame. He could have been an enormous force for good. Don't get me wrong... I think there's a place for anger. A guy (like Malcolm X) who feels the anger but knows to avoid channeling it unproductively could have worked wonders.

I don't know what it is about the Movie but Angela Bassett as Betti Shabazz screaming after Malcoms assassination had me in tears. And when one of the few people of notoriety delivering the message to stop blaming white people is an aging and senile Bill Cosby. There's a real problem

LOL I love The Cos *shrug* I actually thought his last comedy special was quite good. (With the exception of Cos Carlin was the last of his generation I enjoyed hearing from) Made my night that it was followed by Chappelle & Rock reruns.. I respect Cosby as he's done a lot of good behind the scenes and it was genuine rather than for camera recognition. He just can't deliver a political message properly there's truth behind his rants about the progression of blacks. But it's delivered in a rediculous fashion
