Kratos is a Villain. He bases everything he does (which is always in a violent action for the wrong reasons) on vengeance just about. He never tries to help in any way.
He kills innocents (or at least you can in the game) and he literally does nothing for the good of anybody except himself, lol.

Make him a wildcard.
He does bad things, but for a good reason (so in my eyes, he's kind of both). That being said, I would consider him to be the same as Green Arrow or Robin Hood, a hero, but that's just me.
