We've had GTA 4, Ballad Of Gay Tony, and Lost And Damned (or whatever that biker one was called) take place in Liberaty City.
Then GTA 5 made the long awaited return to San Andreas.
But where would you like to see GTA 6 take place?
Personally I want 1 more run in San Andreas. While GTA 5 is big, it only included Los Santos and Sandy Shores. You turn on the PS2 San Andreas and you see just how massive that game is truly supposed to be. Where is the Los Vagas themed city? Where is that other city? Where is the forest area?
I imagine they did as much as they could with PS3/360. But seeing GTA 6 would surely be on PS4/X1, I would love to see San Andreas remastered in HD in it's entirety, not just Los Santos and Sandy Shores, but the complete PS2 map.
Plus maybe they can bring some PS2 SA myths to life. Actually give us a Lock Ness in the see, actually give us a Big Foot hidden deep within a think forest, etc.
Honestly I really hoped GTA V was SA in it's entirety remastered in HD, so getting only Los Santos/Sandy Shores when there was so much more to the PS2 game was a little disappointing. Not to say I don't love GTA 5, I clearly do. I just want all of SA, not just part of it.
Where would you guys place GTA 6?

Personally, I'd rather for them to focus on an entirely new area next game. Not only that, but to break away from the "number sequels" for a game or two and call it GTA "Whatever city we're in". Just not Chicago... I'm already sick of Chicago. *Honk*

I assumed you would've suggested a carnival theme and I would have agreed, but you didn't, but I still agree.

GTA has only ever done New York (Liberty City), Miami (Vice City) and Los Angeles (San Andreas) since the very first game in 1997. I wonder if they'll ever break out. They did try something different with GTA 2, which was basically a city that had several distinct gang territories, but it felt small and somewhat generic as a result.
I like the map of GTA V for the most part, I just don't like that there aren't any true forests. There were several spots in San Andreas where you could go deep in the woods to look for bigfoot. In GTA V there's never more than a smattering of pines and never very far from a road.

I'd say London, But that's already happened before.
Uhh, I'll say Mexico & Western America, the same location of Red Dead

I would give the standard list of smartass answers (hell, the moon, etc), but I kind of like soon's suggestion of parodying Washington D.C.... though I can barely play the games with the current amount of absolutely Left Wing adoration, I can only imagine if they were setting out to be political. As it stands, virtually every radio station and at least one tenth of all of the dialogue is some kind of handjob for Left Wing politics.

Just imagine the controversy of GTA in Washington  The reason I wasn't much of a fan of Soons idea is because Saints Row kinda done that with SRV (what with the white house and what not)

Unless it's a drug-induced hallucination. Again.

Destroy All Humans had a Washington level, it was pretty fun. Of course it's not the same type of game nor anywhere near the same level of scope, but it was good for what it was. I can imagine it being even better in a GTA game.

I guess there were hackers that made it possible to play in North Yankton online. That would have been fun but I try not to get involved in that kind of stuff, apparently Rockstar was pretty upset about the hack.

Other than the fact that the leftie super hero is named "Impotent Rage", I didn't detect anything "Right Wing" that wasn't in the vein of "let's use Right Wing terminology to mock the Right Wing."

This too. They mocked both sides quite a bit. They mocked left wing support for abortion as well, among many other things.

Mocking abortion is not something any mainstream media outlet has done in decades.
