Football has never done anything to you. Nobody can make you watch it or talk about it, so why hate it? There are a HUGE number of things that people actually force on you on a daily basis that should be of much larger concern... |

Football takes up 90% of ESPN and I have to sit through it or turn to to watch any basketball highlights. I'm a huge basketball fan, but ESPN and pretty much every other general sports channel puts football first and that's why I hate it.

Football and Basketball are 99% of ESPN if we're honest. The reason the NFL get more talk is because NBA isn't worth talking about until post All Star Break and the NFL get much bigger ratings

Seriously. ... football is the most popular sport in the U.S. and it makes more money than basketball and hockey combined. It takes up most of the time on ESPN because, big shock, nobody gives a $#@! about basketball, so get the $#@! over it. Here's a thought, if ESPN doesn't cover the crap you want to watch, don't watch ESPN. I'm 95% certain that with a very minimal amount of effort you can find whatever time they waste on basketball on youtube, absent the hated football bits. Your hatred is, as I said, ridiculous. |

It's pretty much had to come to that. I have to go to NBA.com to watch the highlights a lot times. I would still rather watch the highlights on TV.

Also, I really like First Take, in the Summer when the NBA Playoffs are in full swing it's one of my favorite things to watch. Any other time it's sh*t because it's about football.
