I'm lucky if I get 3 hours of sleep on weekdays... When I was in school, I'd pull all nighters all of the time. I'm not anymore, had personal issues and I hoped my sleeping schedule would get back on track, but it didn't. I recommend you turn the computer off and just lay down some time before you get permanent insomnia (or what the doctors told me, "insomnia that will go away after you're no longer stressed, which isn't insomnia"). I don't pull all nighters, I go to my bed, lay there for about 2-3 hours before I drift off, only to wake up at like 4 in the morning automatically.

Well said Knight.
I always thought of Charisma as more of a mic skill thing. Never really put into the same aspect of ring work but you guys make sense.
....and I for one really liked Benjamin but yea I agree he really couldn't connect with the audience. Which is a shame really.

I've always felt like Benjamin had charisma though. Nothing too great, but to me he definitely wasn't bad on the mic. I don't think he was awful on the mic... but that's not charisma. Sometimes you can say all the right things, and still fail to connect. Contrary-wise, some people say things that are absolutely idiotic, and people hang on every word. The Ultimate Warrior had raw charisma, that's why it didn't matter that he was summoning power from space ships. Benjamin had none, and that's why it didn't matter that he was reasonably articulate. ... and then there's Booker T, who has enormous personal charisma, and because of that, he can ignore the fact that in the real world he's an intelligent, well-spoken man and instead babble inanely about shucky ducky and spinaroonies.

Most fans blame the WWE when a worker can't get Over. I generally don't. As big of a fan of Benjamin as I was, the reality is that he was given several big pushes, and was unable to do anything with them. I can only chalk that up to the fact that he was never able to get the audience to care.

I'd do that some nights too. I actually usually fall asleep at around 2-4 a.m and wake up at 6 a.m to send my bros off to school and stay up from there now. Not because I want to stay up, but because once I wake up, I can't sleep.

Hart digging at Flair is a receipt for the number of times Flair to digs at Hart. Flair made a ton of guys look better than they deserve..does Nikita Koloff ring any bells? I agree, but I also think that it's entirely fair to say that by the early 90's, Flair had stopped really caring all that much about his physique, his ringwork, and pretty much everything else except his paychecks. I also think it's fair to say that a lot of Flair's fame is based on his starpower, more so than his ringwork. He was good, but he was hardly the best. In terms of sheer ringwork, I'd take Bret Hart, Owen Hart, or Curt Hennig any day. I have a bitchload of questions for you, wrestling-wise. I'm gonna make a thread about it.

Yeah, I just don't see it (I mean I agree with you, but personally, unlike many, I've always seen his charisma). He told a story when he wrestled. He was great in ring. He was good on the mic. He (at some points in time) had the perfect gimmicks and played those gimmicks perfectly. It irritates me that he didn't get further than what he did.....

I usually sleep 6-7 hours a night. I can't stand people who lay in bed all day.

Public speaking. Acting. Neither of those is charisma. Charisma is the raw ability to draw people in. It can't be taught. Look at Charlie Manson. There was just something about him that drew people to him.

Same thing happened to me in high school group projects but it's because people knew I will do all the work. Though since I've been in college I tend to let others do things in group projects. I don't want to take over.

I don't want to take over. Eh, that might be the case, but I usually make sure that the work is split and that everyone works about the same. Granted I usually step in and do about 60% of the work, but I still make sure that other people do stuff, and it works for the most part. People just do what I tell them to in group projects, and occasionally there is an argument in which I win.
