i meant more of along the lines of the gimmick being a punishment for his weight. many reports (those of the dirt variety) insinuate that it was, i remember him from the AWA and early in his wwe run, he was very smooth, i say that without the typical "for his size" distinction. he was in his earlier days very athletic.. I was under the impression that he had worked that gimmick before the WWF? Obviously I have no idea. If it was a punishment it was a stupid one... he got Over pretty well as a heel with that gimmick, and they made t-shirts and action figures of him LOL |

Sadly, I think that stewie really believes he's being clever. Probably one(hundred) too many blows to the head falling off of motorcycles. Or, given stewie's delusional state, more likely the little plastic motorcycle that moves slowly back and forth if you put a quarter in the slot.  |

I am in no way bashing MMA but I hate it when MMA fans say that fake wrestling is gay. If anything, MMA can appear to be far more gay than WWE.

i agree 100%. as a fan of both it pisses me off to see either side bash the other. interesting aside, tito's corner were screaming that Randy was tapping out when he was spanking ortiz. i hate tito almost as much as jomo.. |

All I have in response to that is an honest, non-accusatory, non-hyperbolic question. Why? Because, I think that in the broad strokes, WWE has generally made decisions that are good for business. Not necessarily popular decisions, but then I'm not a fan of populism when it comes to business decisions anyway. Lately however, more and more, I would have to acknowledge that my faith has been largely misplaced. I don't think that your faith has necessarily been misplaced, the WWE used to be a phenomenal company capable of profound levels of entertainment so I can understand the belief that if one hangs on long enough they'll see the company get back on its feet. I honestly just think they're so complacent that they haven't really been that concerned about it for several years now (and in fact almost seem to delight in upsetting the fans) and I just wonder why the rest of you are willing to give them so many chances before you finally decide to turn the channel. |
