mkay, that's cool. People need to hop on my offer. I would play, as I bought it, but I hate the game, lol. I played it once with miketheratguy and justinlynch, I believe. I never touched it again. I think that was the only time I played it. You're crazy man! What don't you like about it? |

You're crazy man! What don't you like about it? Well, pretty much everything about it except the driving, lol. However, a specific pet peeve about the game that I have is the fact that I am lazy, and I don't want to have to continuously tap X to fucking run faster. I play a game to have fun and relax, not exercise the speed of my thumb, lol. |

So many games has bottom tapping.
I thought you'd hate the dickish attitude of random online players, or having to money grind on missions to afford anything, or having to rank up to get any good toys, or just generally hate on glitches/bugs in the game. But of all things, tapping X is your pick?

First of all, I had no idea those giant orange balls were quite so heavy in the bed of a car. They can be bounced around quite easily by knocking into them so I didn't think that they'd mash up the back of a vehicle like that. I do like the unique circular damage that they do though, for some reason I think that looks cool.
Secondly, Justin's right- you just hold the run button to jog along, you only need to tap it if you want your character to sprint. Though I just stumbled onto something in offline mode that I'm sad to see isn't in online mode for some reason- if you jump with one of the characters and then tap circle in midair, your character willingly goes limp and smacks stupidly into things. The ground, the sides of cars, whatever. I spent a good half hour after learning this just having Michael take running leaps down stairs, going limp in midair, and screaming as he somersaulted stupidly over and over himself (and sometimes dying in the process). Good single player fun. I so wish it was in multiplayer.
Speaking of multiplayer, my intention is to get back on today for a while and actually get some missions done, I've spent probably 20K just fucking around for the last few nights and need to start making some back.

I'm sure there would be time for a small intermission between missions for me to deck you in your face a couple times. :-) But, yeah, I can be efficient when I need to be. Due to my inexperience online though, I'm a super low level. |

Lol "settle things like men". I like that comment because there's nothing between us (or our characters, who at this point have never interacted) to settle. I'm entertained by the idea of us meeting up to have it out via punching when there's nothing to be determined.
Anyway yeah Justin and I occasionally throw a punch at each other, beat up each others' cars, etc., as long as we don't actually deliberately interfere with each other or try to kill one another (unless killing is agreed upon, such as when we go for free mode death matches). The point is that, if we wanted to be fucked with and killed and otherwise waste time and money getting nothing done, well...we'd just join any public lobby.

I didn't even know you could do it until like three days ago. I just happened to accidentally hit a couple of the buttons when Franklin was jumping and I thought "what the hell"? Once I realized that I could actually cause the characters to go floppy in midair it started a lengthy session of switching between them all and hurling them into (and sometimes over) cars, buildings, benches, garbage cans, other people, etc... I'm very disappointed that you can't, for some unknown reason, do this in multiplayer.
Speaking of which, I'll be on today if any of you goofs feel like playing.

Also, if I recall correctly I think I can merge the GTA pictures thread so that its posts will show up in this one (in proper order, so they'll just be dotted here and there throughout the thread). I was thinking of doing this for a while, since the threads are kind of the same thing and go together naturally anyway. Any objections?
