Punk just wants a main event match at Mania & jobbing to HHH does nothing for him, he wants Austin. But, Austin doesn't want to wrestle again.

I think JR is more optimistic than he should be... but it's basically his job to make it seem like everything is rosy in the House of the E, so no shock there. I agree with his general points, but I still think Punk is being, well, a punk 8) House of El? Sorry, had to.

I usually don't come on during week days but this warrants such. I am thankful though that I got to see him live exactly a month before he quit

Also, I don't really care whether it was selfish or not. We all do selfish things. I just hope WWE gets the message and pushes guys who work everyday, not part-timers (who are typically bad wrestlers anyways)

I simply think he should have been more mature and tried to leave under better circumstances. If he's too sick/hurt to go on working, WWE would have given him time off. They wouldn't have guaranteed his spot when he came back, but they would have let him go without a fight. As it is, WWE is still trying to do damage control and preserve the relationship even though Punk doesn't seem interested in doing so at all. It doesn't help that there seems to be a lot of conflicting information out there, or that I don't believe any of the parties involved completely.

I'm sure you have parents and I'm sure they've told you that just because a majority of people, or even all people, sometimes do something, it doesn't make that behavior okay.

One good thing that may come out of this is that they may be forced to push talent to fill the main event holes. Hopefully they don't push the WRONG talent...

Yeah, he could have at least stuck with it until his contract ends in July. Speaking of which, if WWE denies his request for release, can they take action against him for not fulfilling his contractual duties?

But that raises the question of why did I make that statement? Who knows.

Yeah, he could have at least stuck with it until his contract ends in July. Speaking of which, if WWE denies his request for release, can they take action against him for not fulfilling his contractual duties? He's a private contractor, so WWE can't do much legally. If he wanted to collect his paycheck without working, he'd have to sue them, but he'd lose (and I don't think he cares about that anyway) Because he's your hero and it's your natural instinct to stick up for him.

Seeing the show without Punk'll be refreshing, in my opinion. I've got really bored with him lately.
