Finally, Punk was absolutely considered a Main Event guy by the company but, as usual, stewie's head is so far up his ass that he misses the obvious. I get what he's saying about Cena outshining Punk during some of Punks title run... But yeah. He was a Main Eventer lol

Just because you aren't the face of the company doesn't mean you aren't a main eventer. His statements were ridiculous.

He was a Main Eventer lol The question was never whether Punk was treated as the face of the company, it was whether he was a Main Eventer. Sorry Punk fans, but you like pipebombs? I've got one for you. Punk was never, and will never be, face of the company material. His behavior right now is proving that.

I was agreeing with you, Both of you, In that Punk was a Main Eventer, I was also agreeing with Stewies fact that Cena was sometimes booked in the actual 'main event' of the PPV's over Punk. Im not arguing the fact the Punk was very much a main eventer Or trying to say he should be the face of the company. I have no idea where you got that. Just because you aren't the face of the company doesn't mean you aren't a main eventer. His statements were ridiculous. Again, Im not saying Punk wasn't a main eventer. He quite clearly was one of the Main, Main eventers for the WWE. But why I understand what Stewie is saying is because he is right.. He gave a fact that Cena was booked higher on the card than Punk (The WWE Champion) was, I don't think that should never be/Should never been the case. A match consisting of John Cena vs John Laurinatis should never have been higher on the card than the WWE Championship Match.

Yes but that wasn't what was in question. His words were "Punk was never a main eventer" and he was wrong. He was correct in the fact that he was never the face of the business but that wasn't what he was trying to say. So the fact that Cena outshined him is irrelevant to the conversation.

Yeah I know & I said he was wrong just like you and Tedd did, And agreed that Punk was very much a main eventer. Also, He said that Punks run was overshadowed by Cena & I agreed. That was all. I simply agreed with that point of his statement, The rest was all dog shit.

I'm not sure I'd agree that his run was overshadowed by Cena, until the end. He owned Cena in their one-on-one matches. He's really the only guy I can think of in years who has given Cena a serious run for his money.

i said in wwe' s eyes he wasnt a main eventer ... and you're wrong. WWE put him in the Main Event of most of the PPVs and let him hold their title for over a year. Do you have so little understanding of what a "Main Eventer" is?

It doesn't matter how many different opponents they face.

The answer is "it doesn't matter how many different opponents he faced." You can't seriously think I would waste my time looking up every single PPV for an entire year (plus some) and checking to see who he faced in that time?
