No. It's because Nolan himself hasn't gotten over the Dark Knight trilogy.
He probably never will, which is why every time they try to hype Super-Bats, we groan, fart, or flick 'em off.

Just to be clear, it's well known that Snyder is a terrible filmmaker. The ONLY reason he's allowed to helm these things is because Christopher Nolan is an obsessive, controlling guy as producer, and WB/DC believes that Nolan will protect their investment from Snyder.
... apparently they were wrong 8)
