George Zimmerman killed an unarmed teen, but he has beef with Kanye West because he says the rapper beats up "defenseless people.", It was recent news that rapper Kanye West attacked 18 Year Old man for verbally abusing his fiance Kim Kardashian calling her a "N***r Lover" whilst she was on the phone to Kanye. The former neighborhood watch patrolman, who was acquitted in the murder trial of 17-year old Trayvon Martin, wants West as his opponent in a celebrity boxing match, according to TMZ. It was previously reported, two other rappers, DMX and The Game and Professional Wrestler Kenny King have stated they hope to be picked as his opponent for the match that is set to go down on March 1st. left to right; DMX, Kenny King & The Game Celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman is putting the event together. No opponent for Zimmerman has been named yet. Would you like to watch him and West go toe to toe? Who do you think would win? www.independent.co.uk/news/people/news/george-zimmerman-wants-to-fight-kanye-west-in-celebrity-boxing-match-promoters-claim-9104519.htmlwww.tmz.com/2014/02/03/george-zimmerman-kanye-west-celeb-boxing-defenseless-people/

While I strongly disagree with the presumptions made by their description of the specific incident which brought Zimmerman into the public eye... I do think it's pretty clear that this dude has some serious issues and has just completely spun out.
... that said, I would still watch ANYONE punching Kanye West in the face.

If I'm lucky maybe they will beat each other into a coma and I'll never have to hear of either of them again. But is it fair to consider Zimmerman a celebrity? Also wasn't Zimmerman defense in the trail was he can't fight so he needs to carry around a gun or something?

Zimmerman is a celebrity in the sense that all it takes in today's culture to be a celebrity is enough press coverage, no matter what you're being covered for. I have no idea what defense he may have used at trial, but the physical evidence was pretty clear that the kid beat the stuffing out of Zimmerman, so I'm confused as to why he thinks he wants to fight anybody. Of course, chances are pretty good that Trayvon Martin could have kicked Kanye West's ass as well.

...Okay, Zimmerman, it's not like you don't already have people thinking you're racist, might as well pick a fight with a black guy...

Assclowns come in all shapes and colors.
Is a celebrity boxing match a part of George's parole or something?

The justice system would be so awesome if it made high profile cases fight for the amusement of the people, but sadly, no. I'm not even sure if he ever got convicted for smacking around his wife and whatever other stupid crap he's gotten himself involved in since the Martin thing.

The Trayvon thing while understandable was a big racial overreaction. Not even on the same scale of Rodney King as the riots weren't in the least bit justifiable. Sad Trayvon had to die as he seemed like a good kid., as it was completely undeserved and so was the stalking. Pulling out a gun was the last thing that was necessary to get the kid off you but people will do anything when threatend Hopefully they'll knock each other out and Zimmerman might do the same to Kim before going after Kanye

I'm confused about how Trayvon was a "good kid." He was suspended from school for drug offenses at the time of the shooting, and had multiple violent offenses on his record.

Exactly. We may never know all of the details and I would be reluctant to say that Zimmerman was justified (and equally reluctant to say that he wasn't)... BUT, I do think it's fair to say that there were no innocent parties involved.

BUT, I do think it's fair to say that there were no innocent parties involved. wasn't his facebook page littered with photos of guns and pot...stuffs? his personal fb page was taken down before the trial. a trial in my opinion that shouldn't happen. no charges were originally filed against zim, because it would have been nearly impossible to get a conviction. public pressure (mostly from special interest groups and liberal media) forced the hand of florida's d.a...

I'd rather not get into speculation about why there was or wasn't a trial, but I do think that Martin's lifestyle played a part in his death.
... on the other hand, the complete lack of judgment Zimmerman has shown since then could be considered indicators that his judgment wasn't all that sound, either.
(The counter point, of course, is that the media basically destroyed the man's life, who knows how he might have been before he became a public whipping boy)

i obviously don't share in your trepidation.. And I'm fine with that 8) If I was talking to someone who was adamant that Zimmerman was a bad guy and Martin an innocent victim, I'd probably sound a lot more like you.
