whether that's the case or not. Cornette has been gone from their since '09. most of the issues that arose then was on Paul E. Actually Cornette split from OVW in '11 (the second time), right when they buddied up with TNA. That was the companies lowest point financially since Heyman... another absolute loser that some fans want to insist knows something about the business... was running the show. BUT I was actually talking about his original run in OVW, which was somewhat contemporaneous with his ownership of yet another utter failure, Smoky Mountain Wrestling. Given that their roster included several of the biggest names on the indy circuit at the time, they should have been doing very well, but were already in financial decline. BUT It's not really fair to totally blame Cornette for that, because Danny Davis has been the owner all throughout, so he bears some of the blame for giving booking duties to losers like Cornette and Heyman 8) |

The short list would be who Cornette doesn't have a grudge for. I've only heard him speak well / show good will towards Paul Bearer, Owen Hart & Heenan. Everybody else seemed to have rubbed him the wrong way at some point and he's never gotten over it.

The short list would be who Cornette doesn't have a grudge for. I've only heard him speak well / show good will towards Paul Bearer, Owen Hart & Heenan. Everybody else seemed to have rubbed him the wrong way at some point and he's never gotten over it. the list is much longer than that... |

Cornette still thinks it's 1982. In his world, there is no such thing as a stale character.
I do agree with him that Cena is a good company man though. It's the company that makes people hate Cena, not Cena.
