I'm surprised it's that high. It's not like he's ever been a top earner in the business According to a couple of sites I've found he is guaranteed just over 1.5 a year & He gets 3.5% from merch sales. 3rd in the WWE after Orton and Cena. |

It's possible, Khali had a brain tumor when this contract was signed and He is very well liked backstage and that contract was probably WWE's way of making sure Khali's family was taken care of had he died on the operating table. Not to mention he is a huge draw in India. |

WWE generally does not pay out for good will in contracts. They're known to be very generous in other ways (offering to pay medical bills, etc), but it's pretty rare for them to offer guaranteed money like that.

One of which was the more expensive "Elite" series. At one time, Ryder stuff was selling pretty well (though not as well as the IWC was claiming, they put him at #3 in the company when he was actually like #6). Some people love Ryder. I can't figure it out. Even if he were a great wrestler (which he clearly isn't), his stupid gimmick would be such a huge turn off for me... |

I like Ryder. Not a huge fan, but I find him entertaining.

You're certainly welcome to do so, but I honestly just don't get it. I've only ever seen one match where he looked like there was even a spark of anything beyond mediocrity, and his gimmick just makes me want to never see him ever again.
