I disagree completely, lol.
On a side note....you said Kingdoms of Amalur was pretty below average. If you mean by your standards, I really can't argue. If you mean by reviews of fans and critics, the game got an 8.7, which pretty good.

Also, in most cases, I've actually found that there is no such thing as high standards and low standards. Usually people have a mix of standards. You like some games (depending on what you enjoy), and you'll hate some, both great games and below average games.

I liked Infamous but found it disappointing. For some reason I was expecting more. It certainly wasn't a bad game though.

I stopped after the first one. Maybe the first one was deceiving, but the idea that a second game (and more) was made from such a terrible start sometimes bothers me so much that I won't give the sequal a try.

The first one was hardly terrible. It was pretty meh. The second one, like I said, is great however.

After that, everything was exactly the same. The missions, powerups, side missions, places, every thing looked the same. I was sick of going through sewers at a time just to turn power on.

I never got around to picking up the second one. I played the demo and it seemed alright. I might have to try it sometime. I'm more into RPG's than anything though (other than NBA and WWE games)

Some of my favorite RPG's Super Mario RPG Chrono Trigger Chrono Cross Tales of Symphonia Tales of Graces F Tales of the Abyss Golden Sun Golden Sun: Lost Age Golden Sun: Dark Dawn All Pokemon games Elder Scrolls Morrowind-Skyrim Dragon Age Origins Final Fantasy XII Kingdom Hearts Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (honestly probably my favorite)
All I can think of at the moment. I've always wanted to get more into the Final Fantasy series but haven't got around to it. Never had a PS1 growing up, though I did have a SNES, It's just I was like 3 during that time and my parents would buy me games they thought I would like (they actually didn't do a bad job, they just never bought any RPG's)

As for Dante's Inferno it seems a lot like DMC and I disliked that series.
