For the record, this is Jeff Hardy as "Willow The Wisp" from OMEGA  Aside from the name, the character had nothing in common with what Hardy is doing now. "Willow the Wisp" was some kind of goony wild animal gimmick I didn't see you'd already posted a pic, Also, It was a weird deranged gimmick back then as well, It's only the look that's different now.  |

It's only the look that's different now. Inaccurate. I know someone that covered OMEGA in it's hayday. The original gimmick was indeed "weird", but it was not similar to the current "weird" gimmick. In fact, the original version rarely spoke, because at the same time Jeff was portraying a number of other characters as well, and they didn't want it to be obvious. |

Actually apparently when Willow the Wisp "returned" he did start talking a lot more, and it became pretty much the same gimmick, so I stand corrected (per my buddy who, for reasons unknown, still cannot acknowledge that Jeff Hardy sucks).
... that said, the talking pretty much IS the current gimmick, so for you to say "same as todays but without talking" makes no sense. Think about the promo video TNA just put out. Would it mean anything without his long winded spiel?

Both Dudleys were complete schmucks in the ring.
Vastly overrated in everything they have ever done.
Friggin' Spike Dudley stood out more than those two goons.
