It's... not the same thing. Honestly, it's kind of sad that you don't recognize the difference. I wasn't saying necessarily he's a fanboy of religion (although I made it seem that way). I was saying that sometimes both fanboys, or true believers of anything, whether it be politics, religion, some random belief....they all get annoying. A fanboy is not the same thing as a person of strong convictions, your irritation with them notwithstanding.

Pretty sure no matter how hard you try not to, eventually you'll annoy somebody. Also please don't backtrack. You pretty much said " For example, you're a fanboy to your religion." That seems like calling Gremer a fanboy of his religion to me. Or perhaps I'm misinterpreting it, like I'm apparently misinterpreting the 2nd amendment according to some liberals.

Literally just said everybody has those moments. 2. Literally just said I didn't mean to say it the way I said it originally.

I will give Bane this; most people do venture into fanboy territory at some point in their lives. The things we like become a part of our identity. It's natural.

Jesus (Puns!), can we go a day without religion coming up? Seeing as around 99% of the world has a religion... Nope.

Seriously. Everyday, Bane tries to slam you guys over your religion, or iodill goes off about how he doesn't like homosexuals, or steve goes off about how he hates sexually promicuous people or some crap. I'd just like the discussions to be simple for a little while.
Before you guys ask: I'm not slamming any one of you guys ('Cept Bane, that religion comparison was unnecessary) I just am tired of hearing about religion, of ANY kind.

Then you might as well leave society altogether. Religion is deeply ingrained into our society, in fact it's to the point where society can't function without religion(I'm sure atheists would beg to differ though, but then again, how many of them have lived in a society that isn't predominated by those who have a religion[also for this purpose let's assume atheism isn't a religion]).

I don't remember slamming anybody over there religion Their* That's the second time I've made that mistake (actually, no. I used the wrong "your" last time) tonight and I don't know why. I usually don't do that.
