What exactly is cerebral palsy?
I've heard of it and such, but I don't exactly know what it is.

What exactly is cerebral palsy? I've heard of it and such, but I don't exactly know what it is. I've linked the Wikipedia page a few tines but from what I've gathered it's a muscular disorder that is usual caused in the brain of premature infants. I butchered that synopsis |

Skyler, I didn't really find it self centered. When you connect with something, you connect with something. There's nothing wrong (at least to me) with what you said.
iodill, thanks. As for the latter, there are different types of cerebral palsy. My uncle has the worst of them all (from my knowledge it's the worst anyways).

So here's a quick little update on what is going on: My uncle with cerebral palsy is in the hospital. He has been sick, and continues to be sick. He has septic infections, and they basically told us that he's not going to make it. They said it could happen at any time, from today, to a month from now, or maybe even have a miraculous recovery, but it's not really looking to great. My family and I looked it up a few days ago, because we didn't know what the condition was, and apparently there's a 20% chance of survival. By the way he looks though, we can kind of guess the way it's going to end up. Now, usually I wouldn't just say this stuff, but I have no life and no friends, so I figured some of you guys are the closest I have to being my friends. Bane, even though you're like, 12 years older than me, I am your friend. You can count on that. I really am sorry to hear about your uncle. You and your family will be in my prayers. Bane i think i can say it in the name of all of us in the forums that we are sorry to hear this. In my name, I'm like you. If we're not counting internet friend then i have zero and well not that big of a life so... I'm not trying to turn this into "i want people's sympathy because i'm unsocial" from my side (and i think it's not like that from your side neither.). I'm just telling that you have friends. Because we're all friends (and/or frenemies ) on the forums because friend are the ones are that you consider friends. Also sorry for the mini-novel that i wrote but it came from my heart. |

Interesting they a good portion of those fit me as well guess I finally found the type of CP that I have. My hearing has always been good though. But I do remember not being able to walk on my own till age 5

Good luck with whatever's going on. I'd recommend giving Mike admin status, if you haven't already. Cozza doesn't seem to be around much anymore, and someone needs to keep the mods in check. I'm around. I just don't really have much to participate in here. When i try to i get knocked down anyway so i don't bother trying much anymore. |
