On Monday’s RAW, Batista cut a promo finally acknowledging that fans are completely rejecting him. At Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings, Batista cut a heel promo and then went on to squash one of WWE’s beloved underutilized talents.
Batista cut a promo at the beginning of the SmackDown tapings, voting to “Destroy each of our heroes” on his way to WrestleMania. This led to Dolph Ziggler coming out, who called Batista a dinosaur and gave him a dropkick, setting up a match between the two later in the night.
During their match, Ziggler got a loud babyface reaction during their match and got a lout “Let’s Go Ziggler chant” against the Royal Rumble winner. Batista taunted the crowd during the match and eventually won by giving Ziggler the Batista Bomb.
With Batista turning heel, it remains to be seen how WWE is going to handle the heel vs. heel WrestleMania main event. One theory is that WWE will turn Randy Orton babyface by having the Authority disregard Orton in favor of Batista, turning Orton babyface. However this pans it, WWE appears to be firmly behind Batista as the new “Face of WWE” – whether the fans like it or not.
Total rumor of course on 24wrestling.com where I get my news. Take it with grain of salt of course, as this could be bs.

Having Batista squash internet darlings would actually build some tremendous heat, and is pretty smart.
...Y'know, except that Batista's a worthless pile of muscle with absolutely no cardio or brains, and the internet darlings all have more talent in their pinky than Dave does in his entire body. That kinda ruins the whole thing.

Well it's going to be extremely hard to turn Randy Orton into someone they care about. On the other hand, people can't stand Batista and cheered Alberto Del Rio. So I guess there is a chance, but I expect people to absolutely shit on this.

Well it's going to be extremely hard to turn Randy Orton into someone they care about. On the other hand, people can't stand Batista and cheered Alberto Del Rio. So I guess there is a chance, but I expect people to absolutely s*** on this. They wasn't actually cheering for Del Rio, They'd have cheered every time Batista got hit with a move no matter who the opponent was.... Except if it was Orton, |

Sometimes I question if WWE's trying to lose customers. They miss the competition they had in the 90's so they're trying to send fans to TNA in order to create competition. The problem with that plan?... It's TNA. |

Random thing that's on my mind: How will Ziggler and Swagger be remembered? There isn't really anyone who instantly flips between main eventer and jobber aside from them.

I believe that apart from looks, people reasonably think Dolph Ziggler is Billy Gunn's son due to their talent.

I thought they would have Batista be a tweener, but that can't be the case now. He's definantly gone full heel. And there's no way they are convincing the crowd that Orton is good within a month. He only screwed over Bryan for half the year...
Maybe something like last year may come about. When Punk fought Cena for the WrestleMania match, except this time the other person wins.

Turning Batista Heel isn't really going to change anything. People already hate him and people tend to hate face orton more than heel orton. If you ask me, they've f***ed themselves and deserve every consequence they receive.

if he cuts a shoot promo cena on raw , bet he be more than DBRY  honestly imo , the only reason why batista is getting booed is because most of the fans are thinking that batista is just another guy thats taking DBRY's spot. its clear as day that most fans want punk & DBRY in the top spot |
