I just saw that GOTG Batista for the first time... he looks so out of place in a superhero movie lol He'll do fine. Drax isn't a complex character. If he were playing someone that mattered, I'd be concerned. |

It's the same guy who played him in Arrow. That means "continuity." I'm okay with that. I actually like the suit, though agree with PSP that it should have been brighter. DC doesn't do "bright" anymore. Frankly I'm shocked that EVERYBODY isn't wearing some combination of gray and black. I agree with this statement completely and although I'm not a fan of Flash usually, maybe this show will give me the hype to be a big fan and I'm looking forward to it. I liked him in Arrow, so that's a good start. |

When I started reading comics, Wally West was The Flash and I thought he was the most pointless character DC had at the time. The only "good" thing about the character was the creative ways the writers found to expand his powers, that was always entertaining. It wasn't until I went back and started reading some of the older comics with Jay Garrick and especially Barry Allen that I learned that The Flash hadn't always been the lame obligatory team "young guy/smartass", and had once actually been a contributor to the Justice League, not just a guy who showed up, threw out a wisecrack, and then got punched into the next century until they needed to run a bomb out into the middle of the ocean or something (which, realistically, Superman, Wonder Woman, or Martian Manhunter could have done anyway, but I guess none of them wanted to steal Wally's thunder).
I was ecstatic when they killed Wally and brought Barry back, but then, Nu52 and "hey, $#@! you Tedd" 8)

It may have been a good pun if lightning was there, but I'm not sure thunder would make sense for a pun in this case. Ahhh well. I've only read like 2 or 3 things with Flash in it and that's where I've gained my perception of him. |

Honestly? I wouldn't even read Nu52 for free. If Superman isn't good, I don't care about the rest of the DC Universe. Right now not only is Superman not good... they turned Nightwing into a comic that was more about sex than superheroes, and now Dick Grayson is a secret agent instead of a super hero *eyeroll* Green Lantern is an incompetent, arrogant goon who got his ring stolen by Batman the first time they met. Batman's son is a psychopath that tortures animals for fun and Batman apparently doesn't notice...
I could go on, but seriously, the Nu52 isn't even worth stealing.

Batman can instantly diagnose exactly which mental illness any new villain has and knows exactly how to use that to take them down... but apparently not if it's his own son. Who he lives with. And sees every single day. Also, Damian successfully lied to Batman's face repeatedly. So Batman's "I know you're lying!" power also apparently fails in the presence of his own bloodline. |

That color isn't even right lol Barry if I remember correctly and they switched the costume to be gritty and dark. I like it though, lol. I would've preferred either it being somewhat lighter or the white patch to have some contrast. |
