ok lots to catch up on...

1. excellent title fight between Hendricks and Lawlor, shocking how many people think Robbie was...well...robbed. Robbie gave away the first 2 rounds, which eventually gave away the title. and also annoyed by the people who trashed Big Rig for taking Robbie down near the end of the fight, yes he had him hurt, yes the k.o. was available, but it was a smart move taking him down to secure the win/title. i'm hoping for a rematch.

2. tough luck on Carlos hurting his knee..he was losing the fight though. i was also banned from an mma forum for shitting on some chick who flipped out, because apparently T-Wood had grabbed Condit's shorts when he was in his guard. she actually made a gif..like within hours of the card ending. she must have clicked it frame by frame, which isn't at all odd. she was the only chick on the board, so they placate her bullshit. and, boo hoo to T-Wood for getting upset over Joe Rogan's commentary, because it was so obvious that Joe hates him and is also very racist (sarcasm).

3. Hector Lombard mailed in with Jake Shields, i love Jake..yeah he's boring, but he is a lie detector. if you have a weakness he will find it, plus his match with Maia, was a jiu jitsu lover's porn..

a few years ago Rashad Evans hinted at dropping down to 185. he's not a large light heavyweight by any stretch, and speed has been one of the traits that set him apart. but, imagine if he dropped down to 185 after winning TUF2 as a heavyweight (this was pre-giants at hw) he was only 225, and the weight cut to 205 is an easy one for him. maybe he should drop down now, with the bigger 205ers becoming vogue, perhaps the drop would prolong his career. him v Spidey would be fun.

well..yeah, but as far as a fighter goes, few guys got so little results from so much talent. he'll go to Bellator and get beat by Eddie Alvarez and or Michael Chandler. leaving Jackson's for Blackzilians was a bad move.

Renan Barao vs. TJ Dilleshaw will now be headlining UFC 173 in the place of Chris Weidman vs. Lyoto Machida, which was scratched from the card and rescheduled for July so Weidman can have a minor surgery on his knees..

first i'm reading about this, and it is quite odd. UFC 3, EA Sports MMA and Fight Night Champion all had content sharing.  hmmmm

Here are the details I read it from (which really doesn't make sense to me):

EA Sports UFC allows players to create their own characters, but the muscular men concocted in the game cannot be shared with other players, due to copyright issues.


Speaking with MMAjunkie, the game’s creative director Brian Hayes said the UFC game won’t contain the Fighter Share feature which was implemented into 2010′s EA Sports MMA, due to players creating fighters not licensed by EA.

“Nowadays, when people can make YouTube clips and share them, there’s this whole gray area where if our game allows users to make a Rocky character that’s the intellectual property of somebody else, it causes a ton of problems,” said Hayes. “There is a Create-A-Fighter, and you could create you own [sic] Rocky, but when we are facilitating the sharing of content, it gets very difficult.”

As Polygon notes, in EA Sports MMA, players created and shared character likeness of famous people such as Bruce Lee, Snoop Dogg and Harry Potter, causing EA all sorts of headaches.

EA Sports UFC is due on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in northern spring.

I think it's pretty stupid, LOL. No other game (including past UFC games) have been sued for using unlicensed created content and when they have (CoH), they were only made to delete them.

actually EA MMA was because you could create the UFC stars...i had half my caf roster lost due to it..

but on ufc 3 i did create a bunch of fighters who weren't licensed to the ufc or thq...no issue there, and shared the content..

yeah it did, i had 3 fighters named "Anderson 'The Spider' Silva" and it was him...dead ringer. my HW version of him got 5,000 downloads. when they patched it out and it was "***** *****" and his face was gone..i deleted him. i had a couple good GSP's also..my buddy made a nice BJ Penn..all named and likenesses were in the game. i told people the issue was coming they all scoffed..

Ea ufc will be pushed back too August.

I don't know. They've been hyping it up like crazy within this week. I think the marketing sucked, but I have a feeling they're sticking with their release date (which is apparently non-existent still).
