you gave DeNiro a 9..i assume you avoided his "comedic" efforts..? I find giving DeNiro a 9 pretty comedic... very few actors deserve a 9 or above. there aren't many that really transform themselves into a role. certainly not DeNiro... |

Mike is going to come in here and give you a lecture about what a great method actor Bobby D is. 8) I agree with you though. DeNiro might be a method actor, but his method is "being Robert DeNiro." Less so when he was younger. I think Taxi Driver basically killed any inclination he had to actually act, and let him get by just re-creating the Italian tough guy thing for the next several decades |
