They tried a superman game (Not the awful N64 one) few years back with the notion that you're protecting the city. The thought process is the city had a life bar and you had to stop the threat before the city was decimated. It wasn't out and out awful, its just hard to do Superman. I actually enjoyed that game at the time. Last month I went back and tried it again, the graphics were stuff the PS2 would be ashamed of. Agreed, graphically it was brutal. I did however like the approach because I mean he's Superman so yeah. |

Or you could have somebody like Brainiac, or some kryptoninans, or well, martians, or whatever need be be the "gangs" of the superman games. Then have boss fights....
