I've played the Management edition. It's a lot easier to enjoy because you don't have to play through the matches themselves. Management Edition (obviously) is about being a booker, and you can do cool things like change guys' gimmicks, etc. I would actually recommend giving career edition a try, you may not hate the matches the way I did and the "career" side of it can be a lot of fun. Sometimes the boss will call you into his office and try to make you dress like a girl or something. That'd make me burst out laughing, lol. I may just have to give it a try. If only I could figure out how to make it in windowed mode (which some people say you can, while others say you can't), it'd make the game that much better, lol. I hate having games full screen, as opposed to being able to minimize it and do other things whenever I'd like, lol. I'm going to try them both I think. Alt + Tab is your friend with full screen.

Yeah.....for some reason that's not working for me (with any of the Mdickie games, I have 3). I figured it out though. When I installed it, it installed 2 versions, full screen and windowed. Alt + Tab and Ctrl + Shift + esc weren't doing anything for me. I played a little bit of management yesterday, and 'twas fun. I played some of the matches too with different characters and the gameplay isn't so bad that I won't enjoy it, but it will take some getting used to. I kind of want to try a real life mod, but I don't know what to download, there's a few of those mods out there, lol.

I liked the video game "Ready 2 Rumble" and "Punch Out" but nothing else, lol. To find windowed mode, go to where the files are and look for an app that's called "Wrestling MPire Remix (Windowed)" and play from that instead.

The "Fight Night" series (esp. Round 3 and Round 4) were great games, I think they'd be fun whether you care for boxing or not.

The controls take some work getting used to, but once I got the hang of them, I really had a ton of fun with the games, and I'm a terrible gamer so I know it's something anyone can get the hang of if they just put in a few minutes to learn.

While I think it would be fun to book matches, I don't see how that could be entertaining for long. I'd rather actually play matches than set them up. I would too... if the matches in MPire didn't suck SO $#@!ing badly. I can name worse wrestling engines, but not many. It's a shame too because the "career" aspect of career mode is really cool, but the matches suck so hard I just can't stick with it. While I can see why someone would feel that way, I don't personally agree. It took me a short while to get into the pace and control style of the MDickie matches, but I wound up really enjoying them.

If you decide that you like the game enough to keep playing the career, I can upload the WWE hack with the improved graphics and official names and logos and all that. Since we're not on an official WWE-friendly site I don't need to give it a shit now, lol.

I would like it if I knew the freaking controls.

I loved Fight Night Round 2. I was always afraid to pick up Fight Night Round 3 and 4 because they changed the controls to analog and I was afraid I'd hate it. I don't like use analog sticks unless it's to look around or move.

I remember creating a really good boxer in fight night 3.

Yeah I think it was fairly easy to be dominant in that game, because as I said... I'm not exactly MLG Pro, and I loved that game.

My computer for some reason won't let me have both editions on my computer. Since I'm playing matches in the Management edition anyways, I might as well keep the Career Edition instead, lol.
