Speaking of which, where is Joey? Someone's gotta have some way to tell him about this place. do not let they guy back here. He Never could state his opinions without causing intentional clonflict. And pretty much automatically thought anyone whose point of view differed from his was wrong or invalid. Nope. He was like Wild and Soon but nuttier, bisexual, and hated animals. |

Who in the blue f*** voted for Queen and Hendrix? I can see Hendrix. I didn't vote for him, but I could see the argument. Being overrated doesn't mean you're not good... it just means you don't deserve the level of attention/accolades you're given, and Hendrix unquestionably benefits from the "died before his time" thing. When Hendrix is called "the greatest guitarist of all time"... that's being overrated, especially since he himself acknowledged that Phil Keaggy was a superior guitarist |

As for Joey / MrEdgeFan, I for some reason always got along with him. He and I never had a legitimate beef even though I often saw him being a dick to other people. He was a hardcore grammar nazi and sometimes got it in his head to jump into a thread and randomly attack someone's post because, in his words, "he was sick and tired of stupidity". Didn't like his strange, ignorant views on animals though. |

There's a reason as to why all (barring the occasional Queen song) these bands are options.
I see no reason as to distinguish ratios of overratedness, but you can bet your butt that the deceased artists hold a spot in the music industry with cult of brainwashed lunatics that it makes you want to puke.

The problem is that several of these acts were feverishly overrated while they were still alive (Elvis and Nirvana in particular, though I only voted for Nirvana because I feel that they're the strongest example). |

I remember you and him getting along fine. He said he was asexual, not bisexual. In fact, Joey got into "hot water" at one point for being homophobic. Joey and I got along fine at times. The problem is that Joey was very mercurial and would go off on weird rants for no apparent reason. Eventually I got tired of it. |
