The only significant things I can think of that I did on Memorial weekend was visiting George S. Patton's grave and celebrating my birthday every few years. Don't think I've ever went camping during Memorial weekend. That's cuz you a city bumpkin! I've actually never once lived in a city. In Mississippi I lived near a swamp. In Ohio I lived on a military base. In Belguim I lived in the countryside. And here in Arkansas I've lived on a military base.

... I TOTALLY forgot that this upcoming weekend is Memorial. Okay, so what I'll do is make characters this week, and we'll get started next Tuesday, so we don't have a massive break in the action when everyone scatters for the holiday Then when are you making the questionnaire/preference quiz or whatever it was that you wanted us to do to base our wrestlers out of. I should be posting it tomorrow, but there may be extenuating circumstances that prevent that from happening. I don't necessarily agree with the assertion that this game doesn't need a GM. I know the book leans that way, but based on experience I believe that, as with all RPGs, there are rules that can be interpreted different ways by different players, and rules that can be exploited by players who care more about "winning" and less about the group having fun. That's what GMs are for. Depending on the number of players, I may create an NPC to even things out, but I won't unless I have to. I'd prefer to focus on simply showing you guys how the game works. If people really like this, I'd consider setting up a Fed, and then I would definitely participate more actively.

What base were you on in Ohio soon? Wright-Patterson. I've been there. Military Bases are (no offense) pretty depressing places. A little too orderly for a mind like mine, I think.

We need some excitement here. I wonder what the questionnaire thing will be like. If anything, I'm going for my character to have Brian Pillman and Jimmy Snuka's in-ring ability and athleticism with Carlito, Roman Reigns, Edge, Bret Hart, Owen Hart or ROH CM Punk's look. But we'll see what happens.

Now that'd be a fed I'd participate in (and like I said the other day, I should be able to recruit some people for this).

If I do a Fed, I will prefer people to be involved in the way the rules suggest; each player would have one character (not necessarily a wrestler, it could be a manager) at each "tier" of the game, from Curtain Jerker to Main Eventer, so that the "Fed" can have a full bodied roster. It involves a bit more work, but it really gives you the feel of a functioning wrestling organization, and allows everybody an opportunity to get some wins and some losses
