They should give each section it's own set of mods. The WWE sections needs Cyber as a mod, he was fair and if you got in trouble it usually your fault.

You all mind if i include your names for your complaints? I don't want to be included in any complaints yet because I don't yet know whether I plan to stay on the forum. It's possible that this super intense mod heat is just because they're getting so many new users and are trying to be extra vigilant to weed out problem-causing people that they don't know. And again, while at least a few of the mods have already proven to be tyrants, there are several others who have been perfectly cool to everybody. I don't want to make waves on that site until I know who's who and what's what. It's too soon for me to protest. Even if I decide to leave, I'm not going to make a lot of noise when I do. I just needed to get away from there. If this site continues to be popular, meaning that you guys all stick around and post regularly (and I hope you do) then I plan to stick around as well. I just don't know yet whether I'll also stay active on the official site. |

Complaints:
1. . The mods are much too uptight. It's fine for them to enforce the rules, but the degree that they do it is to the extreme. (Soondragon67)
Example A: Ragging on people because they're discussing something off topic in the off topic section? Closing a thread called "random stuff" less than one day after it's been open because people are trying to understand the moderator policies and then making sure to let everyone know that they're going to debate whether anyone can make a random thread in the future?
2. My problem with the forum is it feels like a police state in forum form. (See what I did there?) Now we can't have threads with no topic because forbid we do something crazy like have random conversations in the random thread. (SetoKaiba)
3. Power crazy mods (especially SamBC)
Example A: It's clear to me that several of the mods on the new site are decent people. Even the one who gave me a warning (yes, I got a warning, though it was relatively polite and in a non-official capacity) seemed like a reasonable guy. But there are several people there that are either going on mad power trips or are just humorless and authoritative.
Here's the first three.

I was thinking about joining a few days ago and looked at the site but I wanted to wait and see what was going on with the new forums first. I figured that everyone would flock to the new site, which they basically did, but less than one day later everyone's already turning around. |

Those forums are the only forums I've ever wanted to get in trouble in. For one, they were pissing me off. For two, if somebody gets banned or whatever, it will give life (not much, but still some) to those forums. |
