Looks like French Revolution, which should be awesome. This one is One/PS4 only. Rumor is they're working on another title that will be exclusive to the 360/PS3, so hardcore AC fans will have to have one foot in each generation to play the full saga. 8)

Not too big on AC (though I just started playing the second one yesterday and it's way better than the first, lol, I don't know why yet, but it is), but this looks amazing and I can hardly see anything.

I don't care about AC anymore... they just made everything worse since 3 (i'm talking about the places its set.). Make an AC that's about ninjas/samurais (and as they said this isn't going to happen) or just shove back AC to places that makes sense (in time).

... a Samurai game would be awesome, but they couldn't possibly resist the urge to do ninjas, so no Samurai either.

I'd say an Assassin's Creed game during the Samurai Rebellion could work quite well. There weren't rumors of ninjas during the time so they could avoid using them, there were guns, and the story could work out to be absolutely awesome.

I think a lot of Japanese history is ripe for an AC game. As long as they don't have "ninja clans" or any of that faux-history BS, I'd be fine with it. I'm a huge Japanese history buff (pre-Meiji Restoration anyway), so I would really like that kind of a game... but if they have to include "ninja' (and they do if they want to grab the anime fanboy crowd), I don't want the game to ever exist. I'd be down with some cool Imperial China stuff too. |
