If you want to understand Bruce Lee, just find the footage from the tourney where he demonstrated the one inch punch. It's his entire philosophy boiled down into a single maneuver. No set forms, no wasted movements. Just simple, clean, efficient use of energy to deliver the most devastating attacks possible to exactly the right target at exactly the right time.
Bruce Lee will likely never be surpassed.

That being said, a lot of my hate for Norris spawns from his fans that think he's god. |

That being said, a lot of my hate for Norris spawns from his fans that think he's god. I aoways thought that opinion was due to the jokes. To be fair Chuck was recognized as the martial arts world champ. Also the opinion that Chuck Is that great is held mostly by people who have seen him on movies and don't know much about choreographed fights/pulled punches. Thinking everything they see is some form of the real thing. Whey I mean is, can Chuck lay a claim to being a great fighter? yes but the majority who say he is are really misinformed therefore hitting the credibility behind that opinion |
