I'm a straight guy.. you can call me that, and i will not be offended. If people love they are, being called what the are (and by this, i mean not being called these, as an use of hurting other's feelings) shouldn't be offensive to them. Why? Because if you're black, you're black. You can't really change it, you can only get used to it. If i don't know you, and call you "that black guy", I don't want to offend you. If i know you, i call you that as either: A.You are that said thing, and i'm just saying that as a joke Or B: I'm joking Now if i were to use the offensive word that came from the word "Negroid", you could be offended by it, because it's not accepted by the society. Or we could be friends calling each other that in a room of only friends. I'm just saying that if it's not meant to be offensive (and is said that at some point it wasn't meant to be offensive, someone just took it as that) then i think we can call each other gay, or black, or whatever, if it's either: A: Said to be a joke. (Like now.) B: Isn't meant to be offensive, in which case, said man should really tell everyone that it wasn't meant to be offensive. or C: Said man is said thing, in which case, (if the steps in B happened) they shouldn't be offended. I'm not playing this game with you, Ati. I tried to give you some advice, what you do with it will decide what kind of trouble you get into in the next few weeks. It may seem like a joke to you, but I'm telling you, with your recent comments against homosexuals you're walking a fine line with those who are annoyed with you. *Honk* I took your advice. Whether it is intended to be offensive or not, you will still offend people. I know, but if you can't take a JOKE that is revealed to be a joke, you should really check your offensiveness meter... The next thing we're going to be offended by is that Lara Croft has a tank top instead of a dress and men running around her... I'm not getting into this. Take the advice, accept it, analyze it, or leave it. |

I nearly played through Battleblock Theathre (correct me if i wrote "Theathre wrong). It's a pretty good game so far. I'll write a review of it.

Calling anyone "The gay" or "A gay" is bound to get you in trouble. It's too blunt and offensive for some people here. I'm sure you wouldn't say "The black guy" or "The Puerto Rican." I'm just letting you know, that talking like that is going to land you in hot water with the wrong person, and I'd rather you just avoid that trouble all together. *Honk* ...It's Ati, I'm pretty sure he would say "The black guy" or "The Puerto Rican." *shrug* I do it. .... we're not supposed to say "the black guy?" Really? Because I live in a pretty racially tense area, and people are described as their ethnicity all the time. I've never in my life had a black guy upset at me for saying "the black guy." White Libs from the northern burbs? All the time. But never a black guy.

I never been upset at someone calling me "the black guy" I'm black so why should I be bothered by this. Now if the "N-word" I can see how that can bother some people but I know Ati wouldn't say that.
