That's completely understandable. I don't think ati was using you as a punchline, though. He just, out of the blue, decided to state who was actually gay and that he would be serious if he was talking to an actual gay person.
It's still fucking annoying to see my name in a post of his when I did nothing at all to be apart of the conversation. Chill, i mentioned you, as an example, that i wouldn't joke about someone being homosexual,if i know that they are. Don't do it again. Keep my name out of your posts. MEF, I know this may be hard to understand since you don't know ati that well, and honestly I skipped past the past few pages, but ati's like 14 and sometimes says things he doesn't mean to say. I think when he said the gay comment to Steve, he was just trying to clear it up afterwards by saying "I wouldn't say it to MEF because I wouldn't want to offend him" so that people didn't hate him anymore.
However, I feel like people do, lol. I didn't necessarily see it as a punchline or whatever though, I think he was just trying to make it seem like it wasn't meant to be offensive towards you, honestly.

Same thing I always do. This conversation is bullshit, and I'm not going to kowtow to somebody else's vision of "what words and combinations of words are okay", particularly since, as I pointed out, it is 100% hypocritical. It's okay to use "the" in regards to some groups and individuals, but not others? Screw that noise. Not in this lifetime. "Equality" does not mean "I feel picked on so I get special treatment." Equality means everyone gets treated equally. |
