Um... my dilemma is that I can never finish a story I start writing. What should I do, forum of solitude!? Write short stories.

If you don't write stories, you won't have that problem.

But no, seriously. I'd say the best thing for you to do would be to establish a schedule to work on a story. Dedicate about an hour or two each day at a set time where you do nothing but write/type. Don't start out with a novel either, you probably won't finish it. Do some short stories to get started and find a writing style or genre that most fits your strengths.
EDIT: I've also found that listening to certain classical songs or other such instrumental songs can help when writing.

Also, you people are terrible for advice lol

You know how they say that there is no such thing as a stupid question? Yeah, it's not true. I ask stupid questions on a daily basis.

Teachers used to say it to me all the time when I was young. That was my first indication that I ask a lot of stupid questions.

So, I guess I have a dilemma, and I feel as though I can trust some of you here with it...beware, this is very personal.
My dilemma is that my father is literally driving me insane to the point of thinking about moving out even though I don't have the financial means to do so. I just don't know how much longer I can go through his constant daily bulls**t.
I have even confronted him at least 4 times and it's always the same result. It stops for a few days and starts again like nothing ever happened. He treats everyone in the family like s**t and his excuse is, " My dad treated me this way, so now it's my turn.".
I just don't know what to do anymore. I am literally about to snap.

Wow, I can't say I have any advice there, man. My parents wanted me to stay with them as long as possible.

I may not be the best person to listen to for advice but I think that if you truly believe it is necessary to leave then I would suggest you find a friend who would be willing to be your roommate and help you pay for an apartment(Although you might have difficulty in finding someone who would do so). If you don't think that it's absolutely necessary however then I suggest that you tough it out till you can afford your own place.

The thing is, it is necessary for my sanity. Nobody I know would be willing, I think.I'm almost to the point that I'd rather live on the streets, but that wouldn't be good either.

I have no idea how bad your situation is and I wouldn't ask you to delve any further into it, but I would highly suggest you try to just tough it out if the only other option is going without a home.

Thanks for the advice. That probably would be the best option.
