I actually find the other fans insisting that it's absurd not to need a change of underwear every time new information about the nostalgia mode is released to be much more obnoxious than the obsessive marketing focus on the nostalgia mode... but really, they've sucked all around so whatever. very true.. I was so vocal about the 30 years info pissing me off that Aubrey blocked me on twitter lol

Nostalgia mode as people are putting it was the first time in about 5 years, that I replayed the story mode. That being said, I don't need a follow up. Do something different. Give a rising through the ranks mode kind of like NBA2K14. I like that, to me it was fun and showed you getting up there. That I would want added back to the WWE experience. (I bought it to scout out 2K). It doesn't need a bunch of voice acting. Use Twitter as an avenue that NBA 2k14 did. That way you don't have to worry about voice acting so much.

Nostalgia mode as people are putting it was the first time in about 5 years, that I replayed the story mode. Why? I sincerely cannot fathom this statement. Not only was there absolutely no variance in the path of the mode itself, every single match had to play out exactly the same way every single time you play it. What value is there in playing that multiple times? I'm sorry, but IMO your statement somewhat proves my point... you didn't care whether the mode was enjoyable in and of itself, you just wanted the nostalgia trip. That's fine for you, but what about the people that don't give a $#@!? And let's face it... the sales are pretty indicative that LOTS of people didn't give a $#@! Last years game had a roster that, on it's own, should have made 14 a massive seller, and still sales were flat.

Again I don't want to see it repeated for the very reasons you point out. I had fun playing the HBK vs. Razor Ramon ladder match. Maybe because due to the stringent chain of events there was a bit of challenge to it? So maybe for that challenge I wanted to play through the mode a second time. Which could point to a bigger problem of difficulty. Again I don't think it should ever be repeated because you can have your past stuff in a roster selection. So long as you're not sacrificing the current roster for it, which theres an argument to be had that it was that way.

Sometimes I play a game through multiple times, even if it has no variance. I've played through MGS3: Snake Eater 2 times, Metal Gear Rising twice, Fallout: New Vegas 5 times,Walking Dead twice, Batman: Arkham City 3 times, and Dead Rising 6 or 7 times.
...But there is no way I would ever play through 30 Years of idiotic objectives a second time. Ever. I once had my entire save file reset, and I just bought the "Unlock Everything" DLC instead of playing through again..

Fallout and Walking Dead both have potential for different outcomes, and several of those other games allow you to approach situations in different ways, even if the "story outcome" never changes.

To be honest, I mostly play Dead Rising so much because it's one of the very few games I'm actually pretty good at. LOL
Oh, and the kickass soundtrack.

Whatever blows your hair back, I'm really not trying to knock whatever makes people happy. Gaming is for leisure and people should have fun with it. I just honestly cannot comprehend where people find replay value in those modes that require you to play as a specific wrestler and execute specific things at specific times more than once. Honestly, with both of those modes... the majority of the matches, I didn't want to play at all, I just wanted to get them overwith.

Indeed. The Orton vs. Trips vs. Cena match was hell.
