To keep myself busy at work I think of dream casts of heroes. None of my friends know enough about comic books to fan cast them and my brother could give to shits about superheroes

To keep myself busy at work I think of dream casts of heroes. None of my friends know enough about comic books to fan cast them and my brother could give to shits about superheroes b lucky for you, you toughed it out and are now living in a time where there's an excess of "nerdy entertainment" I love it. Superheroe movies at least every 6 months. My brother not so much |

Actually they're pretty clearly going to destroy the entire thing by overloading the market. There are way too many super hero movies coming out, and a lot of them are bound to utterly suck.

Actually they're pretty clearly going to destroy the entire thing by overloading the market. There are way too many super hero movies coming out, and a lot of them are bound to utterly suck. The gritty super dark fantastic four is gonna be the next best thing since batman begins :devil: |

Does anyone else laugh at the fact that we've become more interested in the development cycle of movies than actually watching a movie I can't speak for anyone else but personally I can't share your sentiments. I very much prefer watching a movie or TV show over watching people talk about how they made the movies or TV show. |

I think anticipation is a very fun element, when it comes to Marvel anyways.
With DC, Fox, or Sony, you're left hoping to God they don't screw up.

I don't think more movies is a bad thing. Nobody's expected to bring A+++ movies every time.
Then again, I'm pretty much going to try watching any "Marvel" movie (I don't care Fox, Sony, or actually Marvel, or whatever)....the only difference is sometimes I'm willing to pay for said movie.

The only superhero movie I haven't watched from the past decade is ASM2, because the crew of friends I always watch movies with refuses to watch yet another shitty Spider-Man movie.

I thought asm 2 was spiderman 3 level of crapness. The first one was bye far better. Dane dehaan was great as harry though

So I'm watching the pbs documentary about superheroes and comics. Hosted bye liev Schreiber. Really amazing I like it a lot. It's on Netflix if you guys want to watch

Up was a great film. Not "greatest movie of all time" material, but certainly well-written and well-produced. I would hardly call it garbage. Die Hard and X-Men were entertaining, but could qualify as garbage from a strictly objective perspective. Have you seen Days of Future Past? I thought it was pretty good. |
